i laff at the "concerned nigerian for ashawo protection" club here

ok, lets forget the oyinbo land angle, so you mean the ashana at ojuelegba absolutely cannot find anything else?

you mean if she hitched a ride to LAWMA and told them the usual S.O.B story and asked to be given a broom to sweep carter bridge, she would be chased away?

as in when you say victim, you actually mean that they are tied at the brothel/streets and if they as much as moved a foot out they will lose their lives?

or you mean that the new breed of young boys visiting the gay nightclubs on the island also cannot do ANYTHING? even teach at a mushroom school, or wash their neighbors cars, or be a driver

you wanna know the truth?, girlfriend stands at the roadside in V.I, gets a customer, opens legs for maximum 30 mins (worst case scenario 2 hrs grin grin grin) and gets say 3 thousand naira. 1 night!

or girl works her butt off at some measly job and gets maybe 1 thousand naira a day, she actually uses her muscles and brain, may not be able to afford her nails and that new weave-on/ make-up

do the maths, and you understand why the shameless things are absolutely flocking the streets and bars

AND YOU SAY THEY HAVE NO CHOICE !

for the foriegn imports, ok so they dont have work permits the only occupation is hooking? so everyone who gets abroad without a permit actually is or was a hooker? shocking!!!!!!
grin grin grin grin

look, its a profession, and people choose to go into the profession

for the talk of sexual harrassment, are you saying that the girls get sexually harrassed and because they are harrassed, its better to just go into the business fully instead of men taking free advantage?
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

amazing. . . . . . . . look any female stuck in europe/us/cote'd ivoire without a work permit and the "job" you have is hooking, berra come back home with the little you have and come and open a shop here. besides instead of the crap you are doing there, you can come here and be a corporate hooker, working offices during business hours and charging extra for after-office runs like so many are doing here, even the married women grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

and stop looking for sympathy here on NL, ashawo nor be work o!!!!!!

Travelista:

You're typing jazz and you know it. You're talking about African 'humanity' and 'shame'? The same 'humanity' and 'shame' that enlists child soldiers, embarks on unrepentant genocides and loots federal coffers? Just think about what you're saying. If you really think African women aren't sleeping around except for necessity, then you are terribly naive. The sex trade isn't an 'African issue'; it's a global one and there are millions of men and women that are legitimate victims of unscrupulous people. On the other hand, there are people that have lower moral standards that see turning tricks as any other job and are happy to ply their trade.

Where I am right now, I can name two women that are well-known restaurateurs that were sleeping with the same man; that same man was respected in his own right and lavished gifts on them (and other thirsty birds). The story only broke because the man recently died of HIV; now, tell me: what forced these married women to spread their legs for an outsider? Was it because their light was about to be disconnected? Or they needed money for medical treatment? No, they were loose and wanted the baubles they could have easily purchased themselves. Hookers come in many forms but that doesn't mean they are all victims. Visit a Nigerian university; I'm sure you'll find girls and boys that sleep around because they like the fast cash.

Abeg Travelista, no mind these people deceiving themselves, their either living in a enclosed bubble or walking around plain BLIND!
Why is it that when people have walked into something (they most of the time see coming) they will CRY victim when the poo hits the Fan!

I blame some womans stupidity and lack of common sense (indeed its not soo common),
Most of the time these woman even know what they are about to walk into but still CHOOSE to walk straight into it thinking ANYTHING is better than Nigeria!!
Its when reality has given them one nasty blow they realise its not so great afterall and claim they are victims of trafficking and prostitution etc,
