diadem10: Obj wasn't Ur candidate but in 2003 all SW states voted for Awa son except Lagos. U lots did not vote him in 1999, but when u realized Ur son was in power, in 2003 u voted him massively in SW. Yorubas had 8 years under OBJ, the little time GEJ held power as a South southerner, Ur greed could not allow you to give him support to complete his tenure like others did for Yoruba. U schemed with d North desperate for power to betray Ur southern brother for a VP slot. Now u want southern support abi. Thunder from Afghanistan scatter that una dream 6 Likes 1 Share |

Arysexy: Well, there was no other Yoruba in 2003. We had no choice which was already stripped away from us. And will you shut your sewage of a mouth about Jonathan? Didn't Yorubas vote for Jonathan in 2011 but what did we get in return? Insults. Same Jonathan was seen laughing with Arthur Eze on national TV while Eze was calling Yoruba useles amala ewedu tribe but the most appalling was the President of a multi ethnic nation laughing at such mockery on national TV. Didn't Jonathan say Ibos were the pillar of his government? How many Yorubas did Jonathan appoint in his executive arm of government? None! So shut that stupid mouth of yours. 2 Likes |

diadem10: At the bolded, we all can see the average mindset of an a Yoruba. They claimed OBJ was not their candidate, he nothing for them. Then in 2003, the same candidate that did nothing for them and not their candidate got massive landslide win in SW because there was no other Yoruba. So in essence, no Yoruba, no vote. We have seen where d support u gave Buhari at d detriment of South South came from. In due time Yorubas will get their payback. As for your rants, Yorubas spear headed d insult on GEJ in 2015, they called him all manner of names, drunkard, Otuoke Buffon, etc Politics of hatred and insult started from SW bc u want to get VP slot. Ur media heaped unimaginable insult on GEJ, u desecrated that office. So if Arthur Eze called u Amala politics, it's even small compared to the lagoon threat of your useless Oba of Lagos, the midnight dumping of beggers in Onitsha by Fashola etc. You better shut Ur stupid ewedu smelling mouth and get d hell out of here if you can't stand d heat. One more insult from u. U will run from nairaland. Bastard! 5 Likes 1 Share |

diadem10: You will know how consequential their votes will be come 2023. Pre-1999 , the tribal politics of today was never present. Abiola won some south East states, if u doubt me I give you the records. Today, Yorubas have taught us tribal politics. We shall play it well in 2023. May God keep us alive 4 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: Implications Of The Results So Far by diadem10: 11:02am On Mar 11, 2019 |
Arysexy: See this one. OBJ already made restitution with the Yoruba leaders. Moreover, we knew there was nothing Obj could have done in his first tenure because of the large amount of money looted by Abacha and there was only little fund accrued from oil which was selling at a poverty rate then. Hence, we all voted for him again. But in the long run, he did nothing for the Yorubas. And don't tell me nonsense about Yoruba being the first to throw out insult because as at early 2011, there was a thread on nairaland which was created not quite long after Jonathan election and it was about the Yorubas visiting Jonathan because he appointed no Yorubas in his cabinet but what did Jonathan and Ibo did? They heaped insult on the Yorubas. That was just early 2011. Ibos were the ones that destroyed Jonathan administration because they poisoned his mind and dominated his cabinet while giving no room for the Northerners and the Yorubas. Same thing Azikiwe did in the 60's and still, they weren't satisfied until they had killed every regional leaders such as Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, Akintola, Ademolegun, Sodeinde etc whereas no Ibo leader was killed. What a shame. Azikiwe even knew of the coup and left the country but failed to tell his supposed friends like Ahmadu Bello. You can't fool me with your gimmick. Ibos can't insult and curse out the Yorubas and the Northerners yet expect love from our ends. It's a shame that Jonathan listened to political saboteurs as the Ibos who love to play politics of hatred. 2 Likes |

diadem10: You are a great liar In 2011, Yorubas fronted ACN Ribadu. U voted for ACN in Ur states, then in Presidential election, there was voter Apathy in SW, it on record. Yorubas did not vote bc there was nothing at stake for them. I was in Lagos then. Yorubas stayed back, to the extent that Ribadu felt betrayed by Tinubu. As for the lies of appointments, u guys started crying bc GEJ started correcting d Injustice against d SE since after d civil war, like giving them COAS, which has never been held by Igbo. Ministerial slots were given on 1 pet state basis, how did SE get more than u? You lots could not stomach the little appointment given to igbos after years of marginalization by the military and Democratic govt. U started scheming to kill your brother bc he gave igbos sense of belonging. This was were all d insult started. Ur Lagos media started the dirty campaign of calumny, Ur bigot activists and fake Pastor like Bakare found their voices and you condemned GEJ that did not do worse than Buhari so u can grab power having aligned with d North. The good thing is that history can never be forgotten. At the appointed time Yorubas will pay for their sins 6 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Implications Of The Results So Far by diadem10: 11:17am On Mar 11, 2019 |
Arysexy: Abiola won no SE state except in Anambra where he marginally won. He didn't win in any other state. Pre 1999, tribalism have always been in play. Didn't Ibos kill every other regional leaders except theirs? Didn't Ibos always curse out Awolowo while he was alive and had never voted for him? Didn't Ibos make a million man march in solidarity with Abacha just to spite the Yorubas? Obj, even as I don't really like him, wasn't tribal. He appointed every tribe into his cabinet and never played political of hatred until Jonathan with his Ibo cronies came into power. That was when tribalism was revived. You said Fashola deported destitutes to Onitsha but some Yorubas destitutes were among those who were deported back to their States. I didn't see you having the same energy when Peter Obi did same in Anambra or when Abia governor sacked non Abia indigene from state Jobs. Yeye dey smell. 2 Likes |

Arysexy: Lmao. Jonathan won in all SW states. Yorubas all voted for him. Apart from this, it was the Yoruba leaders who spoke for him when some Northerners had wanted to remove him from power. There was Wole Soyinka who made a thousand man march for Jonathan in Lagos and so-on but what did we get in return? Hate! This was the thread where your lots cursed out yourself as at early 2011 when Jonathan had just been elected. https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathan That was just in August 2011. You think you can erase the truth with your nonsense? Yeye dey smell. 1 Like |

diadem10: From Igbos did not vote Abiola to Abiola won in Anambra with marginal votes. Can u also confirm to us that Tofa won with marginal votes in some SE States? Was it Yorubas that voted for Abiola to have those votes close to what Tofa got even after Abiola insulted Igbos he can do without them. He was still able to win in Anambra. Fashola dumped destitites from Akwaibom, and other states in the middle of the Night at Onitsha. It was a great insult to d sensibilities of ndi Anambra that a Governor could do such like a criminal that Rob's at night 1 Like 1 Share |

Arysexy: See this one. Tofa won in all SE states except Anambra. That's the cold truth. Your lot made a million man march for Abacha against the Yorubas. Your lots killed other regional leaders except Ibos. Azikiwe appointed 302 Ibos out of the 305 staffs at university of Ibadan. You all love to play politics of hatred and domination everywhere you're found yet scream blue murder when same is met on you. As for the destitutes deported by Fashola, Yorubas were also among them. So stop crying over what a state governor chooses to do in his state. First start your cry over what Peter Obi did with deporting destitutes to Anambra and locking Hausa shops in Anambra or what Abia state governor did with sacking non Abia indigenous workers from his state before coming here to spew rubbish. 1 Like |
