I thought that Hepatitis C can only be transmitted through blood sharing.
For Cheap treatment, good general hospital will be of good help, combine the treatment with herbs.

Read about Pamela Anderson the Baywatch star whose ex hubby gave her hepatitis C. She's still alive.

Some doctors need to face firing squad! That's how one doctor put fear for my guy body and collected thousands of naira so many years back for gonorrhoea matter. Doctor kept calling high sounding names and blowing grammar everywhere. In fact he said my friend was a walking corpse.
Flee from that naval doc. He wants to treat you privately and pocket that money. Your best bet is to go to a general/ government hospital.
Avoid herbal. Wish I have the time to explain

Please i beg you in the name of God, do NOT patronize any useless drug seller online! Don't add to your problems!
This is for everybody else! There is health insurance in Nigeria. NHIS cost just 15k per annum and would have covered this cost. It is late for the OP to start that now as it takes minimum of 3 months to process NHIS. Others should not wait till they need health insurance before getting it.

Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C (HBV and HCV) are viral diseases. In fact, Hepatitis C kills more people in Nigeria than HIV/AIDS. It's often called the Silent Killer because of the apparent lack of awareness of it's causes and effects among the general population.
However, it's treatable (at least, the viral load can be greatly reduced) with proper medication. You will need to make drastic changes to your lifestyle, health management, diet, etc. You will have to be VERY strict with the treatment regimen.
Please go to a teaching/reference hospital. Private medical facilities will take all your money.

udomoh:Stop lying Mr Man. At my diagnostic center in Lagos, viral load is 36k.
Hepatitis B and C are highly prevalent in Lagos. Unfortunately, no one is talking about it. On average, 3 in 10 persons that comes for serology test are positive for either hepatitis B or C. Most commonly route for this viral infection is through sex. Though blood transfusion account for a small percentage (especially unscreened blood).
Guys!! Stay away from unprotected sex. Stop given your friends keys to your bedroom to have sex with call-girls. Vaginal or penile Secretions from positive individuals ( on the mattress or bedsheets) if in contact with broken skin may lead to Establishment of hepatitis C.

|Re: I Tested Positive To Hepatitis C by Spatta: 8:39pm On Mar 11|
I am not a Doctor, Our Doctors have better counsel i must admit, From your story, you have been tested Positive for Hepatitis C, Viral diseases is common among people, many times it is not caused by what we all know to be the major course, (Promiscuity)
It could be as a result of an infection from an infected persons or contacts with them, However in many cases it is as a result of unprotected sex and many times infection from Blood and spits
So you may get infected through Sex, through Kissing and using items or contact with one with the disease
"Hepatitis C is an inflammation of the liver due to a viral infection. The virus that causes the infection is called hepatitis C virus (HCV). A person contracts the hepatitis C virus by coming into contact with infectious fluids and secretions from someone else who is already infected with hepatitis C virus."
It is worse than Hepatitis B which is also a viral disease
But there are medication,
People Live with Hepatitis B and sometimes are unaware until when they begin to have symptoms
Hepatitis C however is a monster, Your body may be able to fight it if you take medical precautions
The first stage in getting Help is Contacting a Doctor, and to get a Viral Load which will tell you the extent of Damage
The Hepatitis C virus is considered “cured” if the virus is not detected in your blood when measured with a blood test 3 months after treatment is completed. This is called a sustained virologic response (SVR) and data suggest that you will stay virus free indefinitely.
Viekira Pak: Approved December 2014. Viekira Pak is an interferon-free, all oral cure for hepatitis C for patients who have genotype 1 infections, including those with cirrhosis. The combination is ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir pills, combined with dasabuvir pills. It is sometimes used with ribavirin.
Sorry, It is called Big Man disease in Nigeria because it is expensive, However abroad some of the facilities are made available because of better Health institution
Blame Nigerian wicked Government some of them have it too and they have abandon Nigeria to steal the resources by under developing out Medical facilities
Gilead Sciences priced the treatment at $1000 per pill, making the total cost of the treatment $84,000. Gilead then combined sofosbuvir with a new drug, ledipasvir, to create the even more effective combination treatment, Harvoni. Harvoni's total treatment cost is $94,500 for a 12-week regimen
Do not Panic, there are Medical experts in Lagos and Abuja that are very good in handling such conditions
It is not beyond solution But find out the Viral loads first and they will start you on the Medication
Consult with your Doctor. It is not the end of the world, People Live with if they get the right Treatment
