It's been a good start to the month of August. Five days in and total royalties have surpassed $1200. The momentum in paperback sales have continued and, all else being equal, this should be another good month.

Keyword Research

Keyword research is one of the most important phases in the publishing process. A lot of tools have been created to help simplify this. However, the fundamentals remain the same. How you go about finding profitable keywords is a scientific/methodical process (as opposed to a random, pie-in-the-sky process). You always start from point A, go through point B and end in point C...as I demonstrate in the keyword research video. There's no magic to it.

Tools such as Publisher Rocket and KDSpy only complement the process. It's very difficult (and somewhat random) to use these tools in isolation to consistently find profitable keywords. With experience and greater research skill, you may be able to pull it off but for beginners, it's not so easy - which is why I advise learning the simple basics. Build your house on a solid foundation and it'll stand the test of time. Build it on sand and..well..you know the rest.

I also advise keeping a keyword research journal. A small notebook where you store all the profitable keywords you intend to publish in the future. This will make the publishing process a lot easier in the long run as you don't have to keep digging around for keywords. Instead, you'll focus your time and effort on executing the keyword and creating the best book you can

However, I'm sorry bro. I don't advise on launch strategy

It's part of the strategy in the blueprint and people have paid for that information so can't give it to others for free.

That being said, even if you want to do free promo or countdown promo, you don't just do it for the sake of it..certain things need to be in place first in order for the promo to be beneficial to you. Doing it for the sake of it would ultimately be a waste of promo days

Chances are you violated someone's copyright..the person saw the pictures and reported you to Amazon who then terminated your account after confirming the claim was legitimate

You only publish with pictures that has been marked free for commercial use. Not just any picture you find online
