52,900 naira. If visa is granted, you pay additional 40,700 in cash right there at the embassy.

Good day all,
So I have been following this thread and contributing for a while.
I had my interview earlier today.
My advise to anyone applying for either visiting or student visa is this, be sure of what you are doing and why you are applying. Lack of composure is one thing I noticed that affected alot of people that got denied. I think the denial rate is about 90% for both visiting and student visas.
Elderly people and fairly young people with good travel histories were issued visas. Some elderly people who couldn't present their case very well were also denied.
Bottom line, don't go and gamble with N52,900 except you are just trying to get the experience. Examine yourself through your application form. Put yourself in the shoes of the Consular Officer and judge yourself.
Those guys don't give a damn. To them, they are applying the rule of their country accordingly.

All said and done, visa granted.
I have good travel histories though. Schengen, UK, South Africa. Good job as well.
Have been denied 2 times in the past.
I was asked if Canada or any European countries had refused me visa before? I said yes. Canada. Obviously, he saw it on his system.

Congratulations Please Share your transcript. These days we need to Congratulate anyone who has been approved for a US visa because it’s one of the most difficult interview to take on, you are not guaranteed one even if you are rich, poor, have a good income or job. Looks like better packing and some form of luck.

Hello guys thanks for the good work you all do here.I would welcome any help I get here.

My wife and I are planning to apply for a B2 visa for US.We plan spending 2 weeks (24 August - 6th September)mainly sightseeing, shopping and could probably catch a game at the US Open.

I am the Headmaster of a school which belongs to my parents. My wife is a Banker and also owns a Beauty salon. We own 2 cars, 3plot of land which we building our own school on at the moment.Because of this project our bank statements total of 15,000 Usd.
Some few questions.
1. Since we both traveling together do we have to fill separate online profile or one for both of us?
2. Do we need to fill separate DS 160?
3. The plan to apply early when at least we have some funds,20 February is available .As we wish to travel in August will applying in February be seen as desperate?
4. When is the best time to collect your bank statement?now or wait till few days to interview?
5. What are our chances of getting our visa?Any tip will be welcome.
Thanks

2. Do we need to fill separate DS 160?......YES AND INDICATE TRAVELLING WITH YOUR SPOUSE

5. What are our chances of getting our visa?Any tip will be welcome......CONFIDENCE, HAVE READY GOOD ANSWERS TO LIKELY QUESTIONS....its appalling when a couple is asked how long they hv been married, some go errrrm errrm and start counting. Simply answer in a firm voice voice 6yrs, 8yrs etc!!!

You didnt mention kids, so i believe no kids rights?
Have you travelled as a couple together before.
Have a solid itinerary and make sure both of you understand it perfectly. The VO usually switches from side to side, asking different questions to man n woman

No cheque.
There is a wait period, but why in heavens name will you want to wait for a fee days and issue a cheque?
Don't complicate things
On the Spot after Visa Interview is approved.
Penalty is visa approve being revoked.

The reason is any money sent to Nigeria never comes back,so if the person gets denied that 40k ($115) you sent is not coming back

Season greetings to everyone,

I am trying to complete my ds-160 form and in other to ensure I am filling the form correctly, I was you find out if it is appropriate to list out locations as shown in the attached screenshot.

Would it have been better to state only a single location like Orlando rather than listing various locations?

Thanks. I will appreciate a prompt response.

LolZ cheesy! Street haff madt finish!

It's possible he has misused his previous visa unconsciously. E fit don go dey do paid show with B1/B2 visa, him wife fit don go born (with him escorting) and pay peanut based on heavy discount, somebody for him crew fit don "japa" with visa associated to him, many things wey we Sabi underrate fit don happen, and the US Embassy - the Naija "branch" for inside - no get chill right now at all....
Nobody is above refusal o. He didn't tell us reason why he was refused. His wife bin born for U.S that year. E fit be visit visa sef em carry waka that trip which a VO might dig out as an offense
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Matinho: 4:05am On Jan 05, 2020
Yea but that would be completely unfair. Its not an offense, infact thats the right visa for both him and his wife as there is nothing as a birthing visa. I just think the refusals are over exaggerated and calling an outright ban would be more sensible rather than these hanky panky way. All applicants should go with the expectations of denials stepping into the interview, that way i dont think there ll be any disappointments and great if it turns out otherwise.
