In the past, we had been told that the colour of the paper does not matter, but rather the content. Sorry about the rejection/denial.

Hello guy, please I need your advice.
I am 26yrs and married, we have a baby girl and we expecting another by July. I work as a manger in my dads company, what are my chances of getting d b1/b2 visa plus my parents too are coming with me.
We also going to do business.
Please what are my chances or any advice on what to do and what not to do
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by bigbus: 3:30pm On Feb 05
Thanks. My 2 cents; give them some space; at least a year, spend your holidays somewhere else in the rest of the world in the meantime (e.g. Europe).

Read the thread. No one can say exactly about your chances. You may have perfect circumstances and not speak clearly at the interview, etc. Reading the thread will give you the opportunity to assess your preparedness and also to know what to do (not).
That said, if you do not have good travel history (together) and your business is not compulsorily US tied, now may not the best time.

Thanks seyewest.... you sure pass. I appreciate the good deal of a ticket you got me. I flew B.A from Lagos to London and American Airline from london to NC through your assistance. Wouldn't have been able to get such deals without you. Though haven't met with you before but I trusted you enough to send cash to you for my ticket, and you didn't disappoint a bit.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by ayobj: 11:53pm On Feb 05
How much was your london to america ticket
Less than 500dollars?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by JWTheocracy1: 2:35am On Feb 06
Don't know... cos I got a round trip from Lagos to NC at $1150 round trip. Seyewest helped me get it.

Yeah,Seyewest is good at what he does. My family flew B.A from lagos to London to Chicago(American Airlines) and finally st Louis. Again, back from St louis to phiadephia to London and back to lagos. It was our first time of travelling and his assistance made it easier for us. I was able to send my money to him because I read from 'nairaland' that he's trusted. He didn't dissapoint! Thank you Seyewest.

Hi guys I'm new here, I've read a lot and I've learnt somethings in my short read. But I want to ask a question that I don't seem to have seen anything on, maybe coz I've not gone thru all the threads, its quite a lot though. Who does one send an invitation letter to? The Visa applicant has a copy but does the person inviting need to send the letter to the embassy? I need to know asap as our interview is in two weeks. How is the issue of invitation letter done, we are going for a wedding. Thanks in anticipation of a quick response

I've been seeing seyewest here a lot, abeg Seyewest put us in your prayers oo, when we get our visa na you we go patronize to book flight
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by shithapuns: 7:37pm On Feb 06
IN TODAYS WORLD, INVITATION letter is same as sending a random cv to nnpc for recruitment!. that shit no get any weight, unless maye na trump or obama write am
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by seyewest(m): 8:11pm On Feb 06
I will advice you not to stress yourself with letter of invitation especially if it's from family and friends, most time your interview is less than 2 mins and that letter carries no weight, what you should be worried about is your ''ties'' to Nigeria, those are very important.

Guys good day
Please am new in this platform and I intend to process US non immigrants visa since Nigeria has been ban on immigrants visa. I have some one over there but I don't know what how the process and documents that is involved.
Or is it better to use a travel agent within Nigeria or US.

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by OfficialMrsJ: 9:40pm On Feb 06
Thank you very much for your response, we have built a case for our ties, and our defence is quite strong. I'll stop worrying my head about it then. By Gods grace I'll come back here to share the good news

The Federal Government has slashed its visa application charges for citizens of the United States from $180 to $160.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the old amount comprised $160 as visa fee and $20 as “processing and expedient fees”.
According to the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mr Muhammad Babandede, the reduction followed a review of the U.S.’ visa reciprocity policy for Nigeria.
So is this the start to the end of Reciprocity Fees

Did anyone file immigrant visa for you? I'm asking cos you made reference to it. If yes, please don't bother going to the embassy for non immigrant. At least for now

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by UhnNah: 8:21am On Feb 07
Going where? Germany visa fee from Nigeria is €60...does that make Nigeria prosperous than Germany? It’s just visa fee chief,it means nothing!
