Testament to the fact that football is evolving... Even small teams are investing and strengthening their squads. That's why Pochettino and Klopp must make effort to win the UCL next month, cos this opportunity will probably never come again, especially with Real Madrid's current investment drive.

A team can't dominate forever but a good form can be maintained. Man Utd's deterioration is awful and is something that is preventable if someone can have sense.

United's problem is the Glazers family who borrowed money to buy the club and plunged the club into perpetual debts. I repeat the problem is not the numerous coaches employed but the board represented by the inept Ed Woodward.
I can't see United getting out of this quagmire for a long long time. They are a mid table team and Solskjaer had them on a free fall towards the close of the season. If he does that next season they could be battling relegation by December.

There is too much money available to other teams for epl to turn to serie a.

See, the bigger Brand and richest EPL club is Man United. However, Man City that just started their NEW chapter 2009 or thereabouts are already posting over 500 million dollars in revenue. That's more than Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Only Man United outdo them. Even then, United can't really compete with City for players because the City owner is the richest football Club owner and he loves football and ready to invest, unlike the Glaziers at United.

Moneywise, City can outdo virtually any club in the world. However, they are still only JUST at £60m as their most expensive signing. in fact, mahrez is on the bench with several performers ahead of him.

But money is not what majorly differentiate Man City and the rest Big 5. Pep Guadiola and Winning trophies is!
