You are also missing the point.

A choice between a Mercedes and a Toyota is like students sitting for an exam. At the end, the students are graded according to their performance. Without the exam, how can you know which student has properly understood what they where taught?

How can you know Mercedes is a better car if you have no Toyota experience?
