Some people in their 60s with grandkids are now coming out as gay, lesbian or transexual because only just now the society has really accepted it.

Duterte was married 2 his first wife Elizabeth in 1973& she divorced him in 2000. D reason being that he was a serial philanderer which he admitted to. I guess he was trying 2 make up for his days of being gay. He realised he missed a lot. In d mid 90s, he had already started dating his present girl friend, Honeylet, with whom they have a daughter. Pls, where's d gay connection in all of this?

If u no Rodrigo Duterte, u will no he is a very open guy. He is an open book. He says what is on his mind. He has no filter& has no shame. If he were still gay or he got married cos of his political ambition as u allege, am certain he would have mentioned it some way some how

I do not have to read. I see it in people's intimate life to know. Out of confidentiality I cannot elaborate. If you know what I know, you will see human nature in a very different way. Like women whose kids are not their hubby's but you dare not tell her doting hubby the truth. And far worse. Far far worse.

That Imran Khan was a lady's man is well known. Including dating Benazir Bhutto when they were still students at Oxford. Other rumours have never been far. I actually knew a relative of Imran. Imran has had political ambitions for at least 25 years. He even had the chance to be in govt over 30 years ago. He was still leading Pakistan cricket team them. I watched him interviewed on BBC around 18 years ago about it. Remember he's not too from 70 years old despite looking so trim.

Look, lots of people are bisexual but may lean towards one gender at various points. In a very religious society like Brazil, Philippines or Pakistan, youthful sexual exuberance must be cut down to gain respectability and enter politics. At least publicly. People cannot even maintain libido of their youth beyond 50 to begin with.

So you think all these big men in Nigeria, no gay among them? How Many come out to declare it? Does it men they don't do it in secrete? Of course not.

Look, no politician is an open book. Never. No matter how apparently open. See how Donald Trump is refusing to release his tax details. Despite saying anything possible. No doubt there will be many other things he keeps the lid on. You can choose to believe everything a politician tells you claiming openness. Your choice sir. But remember that political propaganda already existed in antiquity (ancient Rome, Greece, etc)

I don't c how ur analogy of a woman who has kids 4 another is relevant to whether people can give up their sexuality or not. There's nothing u no that hasn't been known b4 or that isn't in public domain. And what u no isn't d beginning & d end of knowledge. As u no what u no, so do other people. But I still haven't been able 2 draw a connection between duterte being gay& his philandering 2d point where it cost him his marriage.

I don't no about Nigerian politicians as we aren't debating about whether they are gay or not. That is a discussion 4 another day. It's funny u bringing up as if u can associate honesty with Nigerian politicians. We are talking about a guy in d Philippines who said he was gay& cured himself using beautiful women.

Donald trump is far more calculative than duterte. He says a lot but its all about his image. Trump won't say or allow a debate on anything that he feels will affect his image. Duterte doesn't give a hoot about his image. If a guy doesn't give a damn about his image or about u think about him, what makes u think he cares about whether his country men think that he is gay or not?
