Truth of the matter is, except Lagos, no other South Western state is remarkably developed, and it's cos the people ALWAYS wait for government to do EVERYTHING for them... There's a limit to what government can do... Therefore, any government that enters, will face his part... Ogun is more than divided,.... Egba man, hate ijebu man, Yewa man hate Remo man, etc.... They are that divided... If you go to Ipokia, Imeko, ijebu East, Ijebu Ïgbö, even many parts of Abeokuta, Yewa etc, you'll know that the state isn't impressive.... Besides Ogun is claimed to be the most developed SW state after Lagos o.... Now you can imagine the other states.

Abeokuta/ Ota/ijebu (combined) probably have the highest number of overhead bridges but their environments are dirty and local. The people are poor and uncivilized, and there is mass illiteracy. In Ibadan and Abeokuta for example, u will easily see people who don’t even understand ordinary broken english. No sense of progress. That’s why a lot of them are always angry and thuggish.


Ibadan and Abeokuta is 50yrs behind Owerri in modernity.
