Many thanks for this.

I'll like to know how the other partner was able to sign the lettet knowing that you're not together.

I'll appreciate your prompt response or that of any other person here.

There are two ways. Either sign electronically and send to your partner to print out and sign or you print out, sign and send to your partner via courier.

In my own case I went with the first option. That is the more efficient and cost effective option too.

**cost effective

I appreciate your prompt reply. I will go with the first option as well.

Hi all,
I printed my bank statement since June 29, hoping to get an early appointment date, but the earliest I saw was August 05, which has already been scheduled.

Can my already-printed bank statement of June 29 still be relevant for my standard visitor visa application to be submitted on August 5?

The actually start counting from when you submitted your application. So it shouldn’t be a problem.

Good evening guys. Please my hubby is about helping his brother on a study visa to UK since that is where he insisted on going.

However, we wouldn't want to use any agent of any kind..

Can gurus please help me on how much he might be needing for an undergraduate degree and school name. He is 26 years old. Thanks

@giselle237 and @justwise and others;

Please I want to apply for a visit visa using a registered business account, there are two directors, myself and my brother as stated on the CAC documents. My said brother is already in the UK on a tier 2 visa while I’m in Nigeria running business, and he isn’t the reason for my proposed visit anyway. Can I go ahead with the application or it’s important I have a letter from him attached to my application, showing he’s aware of this and gives consent considering he’s also a co owner of the business, or this would not be necessary, thank you.

you are not to undergo medicals for any category of standard visit visa pls. As you are not allowed to spend more than 6 months on any visit. So, no you dnt hve any dealings with medicals or iom or any of that

Now I understand. But is it compulsory to book hotel stay and airline ticket before submitting ones application? Thank you.

So this is the point i want to officially say thankyou to everyone here. You all represent the real Nigerian spirit of communal living. i got so much info from this thread that folks think i should be a superduper agent(who no go no know). From mummy GOs Tier 2 visa, to mine and the kids...it was smooth sailing, everything done from my desk. So after thanking God, i want to thank you all and inform you that i am now a bonafide member of Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant group. If i can i will write out my experience soon so watch out for the diary of a Tier 2 Handbag

One thing is certain, recommend this thread to others. Nothing is new, somebody must have passed through whatever you are experiencing.

Godbless you all. make i go dey learn innit, you aw righ, thingy, mate etc. For now right hand drive is causing me confusing.

Hello Nairalanders and active gurus here.

I intend to apply for a uk visit visa with my wife and 3 kids all below the age of age 7. My question is should include the children school introduction letter approving holiday or it is not necessary?

Secondly, Is bank statement of account generated from the banking mobile app accepted by the ukvi or I must visit the bank to obtain an originally signed copy?

Thanks
