Dottore:At least we can understand the USA, they are open. We know were to catch them when they bleep up. China is different. My uncle who worked in China for years, will always tell you that Chinese are worst than Americans and Europeans. They act like saints from the beginning, they are terrible pretenders..... |

Henri8: We are discussing Huawei vs the US government and you're here talking of Asia. The US is not even fighting Xiaomi or other Chinese company, they are fighting Huawei. Majority of the countries in Asia are pro USA. The only reason China build cheap technology is because of Cheap labour and they have and control over 80% of the rare earth elements used in building modern days technology, Without rare earth elements, there won't be smart phones and other gadgets in the first place, a phone would be 3 times bigger than a laptop, so Chinese manufacturers have access to rare earth elements in abundant. Let's see if people will buy cheap useless phones, if you think Huawei will use apps belonging to American companies without their permission then you have a problem. Android is not one of the US companies that that submitted their secret to China |

linearity:https://consumer.huawei.com/en/emui/emui-8/ https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2019/05/21/huaweis-new-os-could-arrive-in-2019-and-run-android-apps-chinese-media-reports/#74017cfb3b11 Huawei has been working on a new OS for long, even before the Google ban. Support for android need not affect perfomance in any way. In fact, the new OS is said to be 60% faster than android. Without android support, their mobile business is as good as dead. It'll take too long for developers to start developing specifically for Huawei. The android support is a great move. If Windows, RIM and other OSs had support for running android apps, they'll still be alive by now |

PerfectlyPerfect: Thanks for the link. Though the author also qualified his statement about ‘compatibility with android’ with skepticism and the fact that, it has not been confirmed and that it could be a bluff by Huawei. For the OS to truly be compatible with android, they must work with android and in the least maintain some technological license with Google. And if Google as it is now is suspending their licenses and working relationships with Huawei briefly due to the US sanctions, any statement by Huawei that this is an actual fallback OS is just a bluff. |

[quote author=Timekeeper post=79343612] Idiot, and if they ask u which country u wan travel, u go choose USA and even don't remember China.... Hongmeng will stay for you, not me.. For you and your father house... Moreover it's testing not tasting [/quotel] Why are you insulting me and taking it personal. Are you the one that imposed the sanctions or Trump? Oga nothing enticises me about the US. Have been there couple of times. As for "tasting and testing", you should know typos happen. So take a chill. |

CandidateOfHell:Other Chinese companies testing the HongMeng means they would want to diversify their source of OS so as not to be taken unawares by other countries like the US is doing to Huawei. |
