Emmy96 and I made a payment for 12 PCs of 12 pro max,(8 for Emmy, 4pcs for me) and 12pcs of 12 pro (6pcs for Emmy,6pcs for me) to fabsy (Baltimore picker) on November 2020( on or before 15th November) am sure.On 15th ( Monday)
Which he went to the store so he said he can only pick two devices daily and as at the 6th day he claimed the he has picked all the items.... before the complete 12 pro max was picked he has shipped the 12 pro and he delivered 11 remaining 1 as we rightly know that the 12 pro Max was released last...after the complete store pickup emmy96 transferred ownery of the his 8pcs for me .Now getting to ship the item he said he gonna ship them the following week which I did ask and he confirmed he has shipped them.All.through December I was asking and asking this guy where are my items he keep telling me different kind of stories.later he came up with another story telling me he shipped the items on badges for security reasons.The first batch came he said there are no phones there, the second week came he delivered 4pcs of 12 pro max now just this week the last badge came in he said there was one blah blah blah that 5pcs is available and so on and so forth

Many people chat me up to vouch for this particular Picker, simply because i once handled his State.
Unfortunately he is the only Picker i cannot vouch for(I am sorry if i sound harsh).

If this thread is unrelenting and unbiased indeed as it claims then Pheramie's case should have been flooded with comments of resolve but it is not so(could it be because the person in Question is a Picker?)

I salute the Bold ones who have commented factually. RESPECT.

However, the Picker in question should say his part and defend himself if his name means so much to him like mine does.

Like i always tell people, there's little to what we can do here as ordinary members even when we give verdicts, we cant enforce these judgements but one would have hoped that culprits would take advantage of the gentle nature here and do the needful. Unfortunately, reverse is the case as seen in Forkdragnet and Hotdealz disputes.

Ikembz i will advice you to involve police.

Lord!!! I thought this issue would have been resolved since last year... Forkdragnet this is not pleasing to the ears. Maybe you won't know but if your name has been popping out like this, you're ruining the chances of getting future deals from people because of a tainted name. Many won't want to recommend their clients to you even if you have what they need at the cheapest price because of one thing; "TRUST."

This platform is one of the biggest, if not the biggest where one can get great customers & clients but with your case pending like this amongst others, there's little one can do to support you or plead for you if it gets to using the enforcement agents... Do the needful, we're in a new year.

Plenty people on this table but refuse to speak up.
The moment people start to realize picker no dey do them favor,then they would be cured of ignorance. Picker is in this business to make money,same as person wen send picker to go pick.

Same occurrence all over again,why other pickers no get same issue? Fabsy na scam i swear. If him no fit put him self together,let him quit being a picker.

Omoh, For fabsy to nearly send Our laptop messier to village, then fabsy is a no go area. He will pull the biggest "Ponzi" here someday and alot of deal hunters money would be trapped.

I remember when he kept on sending me unsolicited "deals" on whatsapp and he's evasive with full details like he's only interested in you sending money. No other deal hunter does that. I know questionable character when I see one so I blocked him. I don't like what I hate. angry

Hi Guys,

I know there’s nothing I can really say that can be enough to undo all that happened last year.

I am here to take full responsibility and apologize profusely, I am truly SORRY!

I admit that in 2020 I didn’t do a lot of things right.

For example, with Rakiticbarca, we had a MacBook deal that didn’t work out and it took me about a month to refund him because the seller kept promising me that he had them.

What I should have done: Tell Rakitic exactly what was happening immediately and leave him to decide if I should hold on to the money or refund him.

With Peterflexy, similar issue, he got some AirPods Pro from me and the deal didn’t pull through. The seller had supplied me over 250 pieces of AirPods Pro before then which i sold to some people here on NL and had no reason to doubt her.

So I was assured that I will get additional 100pcs from her but she kept posting me.

I finally refunded him Peterflexy but it took too long.

What I should have done: Explain to him what was happening and let him decide what the next course of action would be.

With Pheranmie, shipment was delayed. It took over 5weeks for his item to get to the shipper in Texas, I have all the proof of when I sent the items to Texas and I only selected that route because I was promised it would get to him in 5 days. I shipped via usps from Baltimore to Texas and what was meant to take 2 days lingered for 5weeks because of the holiday and backlogs from usps.

He thought I shipped via my normal shipping route(which would normally take 5-10 days), All I wanted was a better route and thereby improve efficiency and make him happy.

Pheranmie collected some of his items yesterday(5 of 8 PCs) and I’ve decided to refund him the rest of the money(for 3pcs) by the end of today.

What I Should I have done: Let him know early enough that I didn’t ship via the normal route. Tell him exactly what’s going on so he won’t sell his items as TLC.

After sitting back to really think about all these, I noticed a common theme:

MISCOMMUNICATION & LACK OF OPENNESS

This is what I’ve learnt now: business has its twists and turns and whenever there is an issue, no matter how unpalatable it might sound, let all those involved know EXACTLY whats going on so that it can help them make their decisions.

Here’s my promise going forward:

⁃ Openness. If a deal goes wrong. I will let the person know and issue an immediate refund. No more delays. I’ve been able to work this out with my exchanger.

⁃ Shipping Consistency. if I am not able to ship for any reason, I’ll let everyone know via the thread.

So, If you’ve had any issue with me in the past I am here to sincerely apologize, I am sorry.

No words can really describe how bad I feel and I hope you’ll find a place in your heart to forgive me.

Thanks for the explanation, next time as you’ve said be more open to them,about the situation on ground. I understood the main reason why all this situation happened, cause of your missing shipment and few other cases of robbery that happened afterwards. Boss next time when there is an issue on ground, it’s better to open up with the truth.

I admit that in 2020 I didn’t do a lot of things right.

For example, with Rakiticbarca, we had a MacBook deal that didn’t work out and it took me about a month to refund him because the seller kept promising me that he had them.

What I should have done: Tell Rakitic exactly what was happening immediately and leave him to decide if I should hold on to the money or refund him.

With Peterflexy, similar issue, he got some AirPods Pro from me and the deal didn’t pull through. The seller had supplied me over 250 pieces of AirPods Pro before then which i sold to some people here on NL and had no reason to doubt her.

So I was assured that I will get additional 100pcs from her but she kept posting me.

I finally refunded him Peterflexy but it took too long.

What I should have done: Explain to him what was happening and let him decide what the next course of action would be.

With Pheranmie, shipment was delayed. It took over 5weeks for his item to get to the shipper in Texas, I have all the proof of when I sent the items to Texas and I only selected that route because I was promised it would get to him in 5 days. I shipped via usps from Baltimore to Texas and what was meant to take 2 days lingered for 5weeks because of the holiday and backlogs from usps.

He thought I shipped via my normal shipping route(which would normally take 5-10 days), All I wanted was a better route and thereby improve efficiency and make him happy.

Pheranmie collected some of his items yesterday(5 of 8 PCs) and I’ve decided to refund him the rest of the money(for 3pcs) by the end of today.

Good day house.. I contacted ohiomoba5 yesterday for an iphone xr that he claimed was in mint condition.. told him I was in benin and we agreed on waybill... I even made payment to him without the use of an escrow(based on trust).. i repeatedly asked him if the phone was in mint condition before making payment, and he reassured me that the phone was in perfect condition.. he went ahead to waybill the phone early this morning.. the driver called me this afternoon, that I should come and pick up my item, as soon as I picked up the phone I told him(ohiomoba5).. got home and inspected the phone only to see that the phone has a Nick on the camera glass (of which he never mentioned) i contacted him immediately, and told him.. sent him pictures of the Nick, and he said I should allow my client see the phone first that he might not care about the Nick.. client came to inspect the phone and he said he can't accept it like that(item was not as described) I went ahead to tell ohiomoba5, at this point he started to put all the blame on the driver ( saying the phone didn't leave Lagos with a crack) that the driver must've dropped it... He has suddenly decided to not take any responsibility.. and point all fingers to the driver. this guy is a very dubious person, I highly disrecommend him.. Deal with him at your own risk.. even after trusting him (dealing without an escrow)..ohiomoba5 better do the needful, me I can't talk too much.

UPDATE!!!

With mixed feelings I nderstand the situation on ground is way above fabsy especially after contacting the shipping company he used.but I must confess the issue got more complicated because of lack of communication and misinfomation.I HAVE COLLECTED 5 PCS OF 12 PRO MAX AND A PIECE OF 12 PRO AND HE HAS ASSURED ME TO MAKE THE REFUND FOR THE REMAINING 3PCS OF 12 PRO MAX AT THE CLOSE OF THE DAY .i feel so sorry for the issue of lost items of the past and the rubbery but am sure if fabsy get a workable payment plan and stay transparent as much as possible all this issue will slide.A big thanks to everyone that has reach out to me....i.will update the thread as soon as get the refund today.THANKS

I was surprised when he called me that phone has a little crack on camera glass...i told him the phone was in perfect condition when i sold it to him...i refered to the video and pictures i sent to him

After the whole arguments...he said he wants to send phone back to lagos...i told him i won't accept such phone back...that the crack could have happened based on mishandling of item by the driver or himself ..he refused so i told him myself to bring the issue on dispute thread ....

My young brother if you're telling people here that i am a scammer and untrustworthy based on this issue...don't forget that we dont know each other before...you paid me for a phone around 4am..i waybilled to u around 7am and got to benin before 3pm...i feel you should have a rethink about it....

Thank God you admitted i sent you a video...so you calling me a dubious person doesn't hold water...so it's now u know the video isn't clear enough....why didn't u ask me to do a better one..i remember i still sent u more pictures when u asked if the phone was opened before ...OHIOMOBA5 has never scammed anyone outside and inside of this thread...i value my peace of mind than any other thing sir...
