Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by dayokanu(m): 5:05pm On Mar 22, 2011 |
We have sacked the person that needs to be sacked. No one is bigger than our club unlike some useless clubs who worship a mediocre manager even though he has never won a European trophy in his career and has been trophyless for 6 seasons |

Bayern could use their appearance in next year's UEFA cup to get back on their feet. Just hope they get a coach with bigger balls |

I wonder why Bayern didn't try to get Marcelo Lippi or even Van Basten. Some one fresh to the Bayern bench. I dont think Juup will last more than 2 seasons tho. His CV is okay but there is just sometin not righ about it for me when coaches come for another stint. It usually doesnt end well. |

Criteria for a Bayern coach or captain is that they must speak German. Neither Lippi nor van basten does |

On Thursday 24 March 2011, FC Bayern Munich AG board directors Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Karl Hopfner, and director of sport Christian Nerlinger, held talks with Jupp Heynckes. The meeting ended with the following agreements: Jupp Heynckes will become FC Bayern head coach on 1 July 2011. The contract will run until 30 June 2013. Following the talks with Heynckes, who has already coached Germany’s most successful club on two occasions (1987 to 1991 and 2009), Karl-Heinz Rummenigge expressed great satisfaction. “Jupp Heynckes was the candidate we wanted,“ the FC Bayern chairman commented, “we’re delighted we’ve reached agreement with him on a two-year contract. I’m convinced our partnership with Jupp Heynckes will be a successful one.“ Heynckes, who will remain Bayer 04 Leverkusen head coach until the end of the season, said he is looking forward to working with the players and staff in Munich: “Quite apart from my excellent personal relations with the senior officials at Bayern, I have always been exceptionally impressed by the utterly professional way in which the club is managed. I have already coached Bayern twice, and always valued the working atmosphere and climate there. Obviously, as Bayern coach, you have a certain duty to deliver success. However, I regard that as an appealing challenge, which I am delighted to tackle together with the team over the next two seasons http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/en/news/news/2011/28824.php?logout_redirect=true |

Kroos commits to Bayern until 2015 Germany international Toni Kroos has inked a new deal keeping him in Munich for the next four years. On Thursday, Bayern and the player agreed terms on a three-year extension to the 21-year-old’s current deal, which was set to expire on 30 June 2012, binding the midfielder to the club until 30 June 2015. “This is another building block in our long-term planning for a successful team,” commented director of sport Christian Nerlinger. “After Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Müller and Holger Badstuber, we’ve now concluded a long-term contract with a fifth young Germany international. We think Toni Kroos will develop into an exceptional player and we’re very happy about agreeing the new contract.” http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/en/news/news/2011/28883.php?logout_redirect=true |

Suspected bombs found near Borussia Dortmund stadium The devices were found in a car park near the 65,000-seat Westfalenstadion German police say they have detained a 25-year-old man after three suspected explosive devices were found outside Borussia Dortmund's football stadium. Three devices were also found in the flat of the suspect, who is German. The Federal Criminal Police Office said he was arrested in Cologne on Tuesday after e-mailing anonymous tips about planned attacks to the authorities. The interior ministry has sought to reassure the public, saying he had "no links to terrorist or Islamist" groups. "The suspect was apparently acting on his own with a criminal motivation. There was no danger to any third parties at any time," a spokesman said. Embassy tip Michael Stein, a spokesman for the Dortmund police department, said: "We expect no security threat at all for the upcoming Bundesliga match on Saturday. The visitors are invited to come to Dortmund. They will be safe here." An investigation was begun by the police in February after an anonymous tip was sent to the German embassy in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, offering to provide information about two attacks being planned. When the suspect was arrested, he admitted sending the e-mail tips and making up details of the attacks, officials said. He then told officers about the explosive devices near Borussia Dortmund's stadium and in his flat. The Bundesliga leaders said the devices were found in a car park a few hundred metres from the 80,000-capacity Westfalenstadion. Tests have yet to determine whether they could have exploded. Officials said they believed it might have been a blackmail attempt. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-12929623 |

Mario scored useless goals that ensured his team's ouster from both the UCL and league title. Barrios on the Other hand has virtually handed the league title to Dortmund and will put them on the European map in next season's UCL. How can you compare a scorer of 'consolation' goals to a scorer of vital goals ? . Dayo pls kill yaself cos it's beyond misery what you're living in |

Chei! See as Schalke scatter Inter! Up Bundesliga! @ Dayo, Apart from Robben, has any other player performed better Goetze this season? FFS, there's so many young killer in Germany these days, I don't think Marko Marin can make the squad ever again. Niggas like Goetze, GroesKutz, Sidney Sam and even young Draxler are tearing it up. Even Friedrich and the tall donkey would struggle with the likes of Howedes (the young Schalke and Dortmund CBs, Ove forgotten which is which) coming through. I'm even surprised that Beck can't get in the team, then switch Lahm to left-back. Question: Is Wilshere much better that Goetze? The way English start ranting and raving when they get one decent player, you would think other countries don't have such players. |
