I didn't read past the first paragraph, but a branch manager is not a teller. He is most times a marketer, that he received money from you doesn't make him a "teller". Definitely not in the context you used it.

So, quit the semantics. My point has been made.

You might still consider seeing the psychiatrist.

adanny01:

You are very shallow in thought.

I have a friend who is a branch manager, i went to his branch to make a deposit. The teller queue will take me an hour but i needed to go somewhere else. I went to the branch manager, gave him the money and my filled deposit teller and left. 20mins later i got the alert.

In your wierd sense of reasoning, so the branch manager is not a teller so he cannot help me deposit because that is not his desk abi?

This answers 1&2

With regards to 3&4, If you reason very well, you should ask yourself the other parts of the story that are not written here.

From 3 @ bolded, how possible is it for 1 bank staff to deny bank service to a customer? How possible is that? Use your head and think. There are at least 10 staff in the bank branch, 1 person decided to deny you his service and automatically all the 9 others also refused to service you or what exactly? The branch manager also refused to service you and they all walked you out? So the entire bank branch staff walked you out or just one single staff walk you out of the branch.

Wait sef, was she walked out of the Dr's office or out of the hospital?

With regards to 4 and from these words of yours, "HE DIDN'T JUST REFUSE TREATING HER, HE WALKED HER OUT OF THE HOSPITAL.

Walking someone out of an office and walking someone out of the hospital are 2 different things. The Dr has the right to walk anyone out of his office for personal reasons because its an alotted personal space but not out of the hospital because its a public place.

Wait, how is one technically walked out. Did he physically push her out, instructed security to walk her out or how exactly. If he did so physically, that is assault, why hasn't she accused him of physical assault? If the security threw her out, why didn't she include the security men in her allegations?

If the Dr walked her out of his office, how did he do it because this is an allegation and how it was done is the only thing that can prove any wrong doing. Do you have the exact how she was walked out of the hospital?

If the Dr only walked her out of his office, did the doctor walked her out of another Dr's office in the same hospital since there was another Dr who attended to her last time.

Do not just believe any story you read without the mental capacity to read in between the lines. First and foremost, while reading, put yourself in the situation and how differently you would treat the situation. Was there a way out, why didn't the other available options explored.

Lastly, look at the whatsapp chat where the woman's sister who is a staff of the same hospital told the husband to calm down and remember that his wife is her own sister. What does that tell you, the man and his wife are blowing a small issue out of proportion. Look at the first doodle, "she didn't let him violate her vagina". That statement is entirely wrong and portrays someone who is unreasonable and uninformed. A male gynecologist doesn't violate unless proven by testimony and evidence of wrong doing by a medical review panel. You accuse someone of violating your vagina when hasn't even touched you, that is a complete fabrication of lies and deceit. The rest of the story could be mixed with a lot of more lies and deceit to give them credibility in their personal vendetta.

I guess only people of shallow minds as yourself can fall for such lies.

Didn't read so you confirm yourself shallow in mind and reading too! Not surprised.

Can't a bank manager make a deposit for me even when that is his desk or not? Is that your lame point?

That wasn't the context. A doctor is a doctor, not a cashier improvising as one. A teller is a teller, not your manager friend receiving money from you.

Learn to stay on track. Hope this isn't how you go out of your lane while driving? Don't wanna imagine how many accidents you have caused. wink

Once again you get it wrong, context is context and analogy explains a context.

Analogy is a comparison between one thing and another, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

I gave an analogy, i guess you have a deficiency in comprehension.

In my analogy, the neighbor teller is the Dr, i guess that my analogy is beyond your understanding.

Your analogy is flawed. It is not beyond any understanding. The doctor is a doctor. He is not a manager doubling as a teller!!!!!!

Point is, the doctor has no right to send her out of the hospital. If you have to comment, address the situation and stop going about dropping off analogies.

Believe me, the woman can not win, lawyers usually like this kind of case, the woman has no right either to embarass the doctor; doctor was trying to perform his legitimate duty. NMA will never want the doctor to be disgraced, they will stand with him just like other professional bodies like NUJ, NBA and so on usually stand for themselves simply because the doctor did not commit the offence. Lawyer will twist the case to the extent that the woman will nearly weep, they will cite different similar cases in the past where it back-fired; they will tell you, best thing is for the doctor not to attend to her to avoid future disaster. Imagine, if the woman dies in the process while the doctor is working on her, they will arrest the doctor for killing the woman because of what has happend initially between them. So, believe me, the woman can not win the case!

As a lawyer who has taken 2 consultants to court and gotten nice settlements, I laugh at your ignorance. If you have time, I can give you some past cases to study as legal precedence, if you will understand legal technicalities. Let me ask you one simple question, does the woman have the right to request for a female doctor, in order to maintain her privacy?
Does a doctor have the right walk a sick patient out of the hospital?

See..things are not as straight forward as u thing..
Even in our profession, they are grey areas

Do u know before a male doctors examines any female patient,a female chaperon has to be there.

OK...look at this scenero

U entered a hospital and met a male doctor.u told d Dr u want a female dr cause u feel male dr may molest u.then the dr tells her a female chaperon will still be there before he touches her. She still insisted on a female dr.

Next time u came in and u want me to manage u.there is nothing wrong if I contact that female dr to come manage u cos I don't feel comfortable with u.

Maybe he called the female dr to come cos we don't kw the whole gist

Nothing and I repeat nothing will happen to that dr.u can take him anywhere.

Dr saves life but a times may refuse to save a life that may cost them their own life.

When u manage patients, then u will kw what am talking about.

We don't really kw what transpired the first time they met.
2 quick questions
given the scenario you painted above, did the doctor had the right to walk her out of the hospital?

If a patient refused to accept medical care from a doctor on the ground of gender today, is it a valid reason for the doctor to deny her medical care tomorrow?

As a lawyer, i expected you will be interested in how the woman was walked out rather than if the Dr had the right to walk her out of the hospital. We all know she has her rights to be in a public building but the Dr also has rights in his office (not building oh) even if its a public building.

The technicality is how was the woman walked out of the hospital? Did he tell her leave this hospital and she left or her physically graped her and draged her out or he called the security to escort her out of the hospital?

From the WhatsApp screen shot, what do you make of the entire allegation?

Walking her out of a government hospital is wrong.from my years of practice, I av never seen a dr sending a patient out of a government hospital. It may just be a way for the husband to get sympathy on SM.he maybe right,...

For your second question ,it is not a reason for denying her medical care.but if the patient had showed signs of looking for trouble or trying to tag the dr a molester in their previous meeting, he has a right to refuse to touch her cos he may feel she is trying to indict him

That is his right.u can take this anywhere.

If a dr feels a patient or patient relative is a threat to carrying out his duties(maybe if he has been called a molester or pervert in the past), he has the right not to touch the patient

Mr lawyer, that is his right..u van take him anywhere
Re: FRSC Doctor Refuses To Treat Woman Who Stopped Him From Molesting Her by Segeshow: 9:00am On Jul 23, 2019
A patient who has refused an examination simply because of gender can be tagged as a troublesome one and doctors tend to avoid them. In a similar situation I would definitely ask such a patient to be attended to by a different doctor because she has a biased mindset and anything I do can be misconstrued as molestation. If you don't now do the vaginal examination and miss a diagnosis like an ectopic pregnancy, all these morons shouting patients right to choose doctor will be the first to say how useless Nigerian doctors are and are only interested in strike and private practice. Then the vulture lawyers will now be asking you JAMB question. You have a right to deny care if you feel the patient is not confident in your abilities or if you feel the patient is unreasonable beyond normal to the point of assuming every Male doctor wants to assault you or violate your vagina. Some of us actually find it revolting.

Oga lawyer, your questions have been answered. You have just refused to accept the replies. The doctor has a right to refuse care if he feels the patient has no confidence in his competency or if he feels care may result in a situation which may compromise his integrity ie being called a violator of vaginas. What if in her delirium she claims he touched her inappropriately because ab initio she was thinking along those lines. You lawyers are just full of it.

Why are you concerned about the Dr not what actually happened?

To be a lawyer means you always have to be biased but on this social media matter your unbiased professional view is what is required so drop the act and objectively analyze the matter. The lady didn't hire you neither did the Dr.

I answered your question perfectly but i guess you didn't see it or chose to ignore. Let me quote myself.
We all know she has her rights to be in a public building but the Dr also has rights in his office (not building oh) even if its a public building.

For a lawyer, you should be asking thr right questions not concluding based on vague allegations that have a shaky basis. The basis of the allegation is that the Dr was prevented from violating the woman, dont you find that ridiculous. Infact it is character assassination to even suggest violation he was not even the Dr who attended to her initially.

My brother, i just laughed in 3D. Is like you just graduated from law school of a recent! The doctor will not even want to hire inexperienced lawyer in the first place, this is not a case for 'charge and bail' lawyer, who will spoil case for the client. The two of them will still hire lawyers wheather for right or wrong, and no lawyer is prepared to loose even if it is by 'lawyer' turning to logical 'liar' for a moment. If you can't see doctor winning this case, sorry, you will soon become a full-fledged lawyer, Keep learning, my friend!
