YorubaHero12: Well said. I agree with all the above. The Okorocha and Kalu part though . . . both men have lost their credibility sorta, especially Okorocha. If Dora were alive, she would have been the best candidate by far. However, there are very smart, less known candidates of Igbo extraction who can get the job done. Like you rightly indicated though, it's never handed down on a platter of gold. |

If Yorubas like they should follow Tinubu into slavery. Miyetti Allah now has vigilantes operating inside Yoruba land. Popular Lawyer Kayode Ajulo and his police escort interrogated some of them on the expressway in Ondo days ago. Notice the ID card has space for Emirate. If una like make una gree. 1 Like 1 Share

Debaiz:Look up and see the lies you're spewing. Your tribe is known for lies since ages, so I'm not surprised. You say Tony Blair was the last Scotman to become PM of Great Britain? What was Gordon Brown? You don't even know history and you're coming to spew lies. For your information the United Kingdom have had Prime Ministers from Scotland on numerous occasions. In Spain where you showed your nauseating ignorance, Catalonians have become Prime Minister of Spain, pre war and post war. Go make your research before disgracing yourself. Now, who is the dirty liar from a foul mouthed lying tribe? Whose tribe is the problem with Nigeria according to Emir Sanusi. You see red and call it white when it favours you, and see white and call it red when it doesn't favour you. Igbo's using lies to gain sympathy gba gbuo gi nga! |

We all know that Tinubu is the best choice for 2023 and he will do a good job by taking Nigeria where it should be. Igbos know this, that's why they have been trying to pit Yoruba against Fulani, and have Tinubu as their first and last word everyday of their lives. |
Re: Junaid Mohammed: I Will Rather Have Tinubu As President Than Igbo Man by wowcatty: 3:32am On Jul 24, 2019 |
Your pain is dripping all over nairaland. Why not just rest your head if you believe your own lies? You are scared to death of what is probable in what Junaid said. You igbos know what time it is and in panic mode. Your damn calculation is to go back to square one, your future is indeed dark and gloomy. See how you are being chased out everywhere from S.Africa to Ghana like street dogs, very soon, the Yorubaland that has given you refuge for so long will spit you out. If anything, Yoruba have all what it takes to sustain a country but same can't be said about Igboland, so you should be very afraid. God doesn't bless the wicked, whatever little you have as a people is stolen from others, your destiny is in the hands of your enemies, reason you are so angry and bitter. alphaeus212: 1 Like 1 Share |

Princedapace: My dear, your observation is very decent. Only that SE is not helping itself. Politics is a game of interest, intelligence and body language (polity). Since the start of IPOB distraction and hate speeches, how many Igbo politicians have actively come out to denounce that ill-advised adventure? At a convergence or at a gathering of politicians; leaders of other regions & power brokers would not really have much faith in the intentions of their colleagues from the SE. A team of leaders from a region actively campaigning for the break-up of a company or a country has put itself at a disadvantage already. ‘’You can’t be trusted to lead a country your kids have threatened to burn down naaa” Especially, when the elders from that place has made insignificant efforts at discouraging such pronouncements. If at all the adventure has been condemned by elected & respected SE leaders. Their opposition (conventionally acceptable, though) and apathy of their people did them no favors. At the corridors of powers, our mean leaders have labelled the region as “5%ters” and you know that numbers are important in that game called politics. The best leaders from the East can do is to ensure their region runs on a single voice. They have two options and both are WIN-WIN for them. I. Choose to be Biafrans and be unapologetic about it but forgo whatever packages they are enjoying from their offices as leaders in Nigeria. {It may be successful even, without bloodshed if they speak with same voice and are ready to forgo the luxuries of benefiting from Nigeria, YOU CAN’T EAT YOUR CAKE AND EXPECT TO STILL HAVE IT ON YOUR PLATE)} II. Or stay with Nigeria and condemn their kids drumming for break-up. If only they can take A STAND, they shall achieve success. But Igbo problems are self-defeatism, internal division and indecision. |

goldenarrow: This has nothing to do with 'igbo problem' We fail to understand that politicians in this country only care for their pockets. No politician will come out and agree to break up the country since they get fat pay. It is us, the masses that supposed to be fighting for this bro. I really dont know why we have refused to see this. Look at the deputy govt of Kogi state, just between 2017 to 2019, he was not paid fully, he is still have over 700 million naira as outstanding salary and allowances. It is not only igbos who need the change of this system of govt, the entire country needs it. But what i dont understand is why the same masses who need it go about insulting those who are bold enough to come out and say it is needed. Politicians in this part of the world are selfish. So, dont make it look like it is only igbos who need this. As it is in the south east, that is how it is in other regions. Nigeria is same. The same no stable electricity, same no water, same bad roads, same poor looking cities, same unemployment, same insecurity, same poor education, same poor health care. In fact, north is worse hit. So, expecting politicians in the east to speak out wont work since other politicians too dont. It is when the masses like Biafran supporters come out and speak that they need this, the govt will do something. Any way, since the masses love suffering, no wahala, the country will remain like this. Like someone told me few days ago, these criminals called politicians are already preparing their kids for political positions. They send them abroad for education, when they come back, they take them and give them political appointment, preparing them for future leaderships when they die. The children of the poor masses, the average and even the rich will continue to be slaves. Nigerian masses, the most foolish ever. I mean, what has presidency benefited any region? Why cant Nigerians understand that political appointments and positions are not dividend of democracy? why? even graduates dont know this! Why? Dividend of democracy is a working society. |
Re: Junaid Mohammed: I Will Rather Have Tinubu As President Than Igbo Man by datasthmagirl(f): 7:35pm On Jul 25, 2019 |
That's not going to happen. Power will stay in the north indefinitely until southern simpletons receive sense. In the present structure, no opposition party will gain power at the center again without fielding a northerner. #FACT. seunmsg: |

Princedapace: It is an African thing, (only that it has the European name, Stockholm Syndrome) from the North up to South of Nigeria. But brethren from the East says they don't care who leads in one minute, the very next minute you hear "marginalization", so it is difficult to understand why they react to these types of comments (such as Junaid's). A lot of the Easterners believes secession is the best option. Same for a limited few from other regions, but many are okay with status quo. Similar to the lot who were quick to tell us IBB was a very good leader because of the ill-gotten wealth many of his cronies stole and frittered away back in those days. Today, they know better. In short, a Freedom Fighter in a clime, is a Terrorist against (to) another group. The insurgency in the North is a classic example of this Syndrome. The fools among the Northerners were thinking Boko Haram was their means of achieving a voice in the Land while the power was with a Southerner. Today, they are enjoying (suffering) the dividends of that evil. The first step at resolving Nigeria issues is solely by returning to the pre-independence Federation (or even a quasi-Regional) pattern. It takes elected leaders a painfully long time to realize that we are all in the sh-t together. Are their children and businesses safe today? They are only marginally better off when the card packs start to tumble down. 1 Like |
