Herdsmen:

Power is not coming south..... Talk more TINUBU...
It's Ruga for now...
When real politics begin..tunes will change..

I've been in the circle...and has had political statement from the north in their private discuss.
As you know... Politics is a game of numbers..

....I've heard influencial northern APC politician..said in a discuss..when asked about TINUBU presidency...
..say...they can't be slaves to Yorubas...with a mean sad face..
Discussion end..topic changed.. of course some yoruba's where seated.

Right now..if you're in government and know how villa operate..
Is all about fulanis from daura...is an open secret..not even hausa are considered..not even kujiris from kastina...
TINUBU Kalu and others are only pushing hard to be considered..kinda looking for favors from the daura fulanis..

Some said TINUBU is the second man in government...lol..hmmm...to an average Nigerian..
But the truth is... TINUBU ain't even the 10th man in government..not even osibanjo..
I won't want to argue or say much..

But soon ..fulanis will show their card open..all the await is for Buhari to finish his tenure..then the south will understand politics.

Some abuse obasanjo when he tried to expose the same agenda..within the corridors of power..it was his own people that shut him up..
Mere people on the streets..that don't have information on what's happening to our country..just because they want presidency..the reduce a general, 11 year president of Nigeria..the only man the north fear in the south..even made caricature video of him running out of the country..to a commoner...
The demistyfer..the great Oracle feared by the north ..

Anyway..those that knows the truth ..knows too well..
For even osibanjo TINUBU and the whole Western governor's and Abuja politicians knows the bitter truth..
But to be in good books of Baba.. everyone has turn coward.

Bro just forget power coming down to south...you people cheered the k" states dishing out million votes..and applaud the rigging..you still think TINUBU is so important in this administration..

Believe me... they're using him to gain support from Western media..and some southern Muslims..

Muric knows the truth....

Is only a matter of time.. bookmark this ..

I think they should give the Igbos a chance at the presidency also, but they have to bring out someone that is acceptable to the country and can get support from both the SW and the North.

It might be Kalu, Okorocha, Ngige e.t.c., but the main issue here is that the Igbos do not seems to like these guys and they might even lose their region if they contest. I know the Igbos wanted Biafra but they have to fully participate in the interim before that is actualized.

As per Tinubu, he will make a good president because he knows how to select the best people and great minds to work for him irrespective of ethnicity. He brought out some of the best talents this country ever had, and I am 100% sure he will be better than Jonathan and Buhari combined.

Either way, God bless Nigeria.

Well said. I agree with all the above. The Okorocha and Kalu part though . . . both men have lost their credibility sorta, especially Okorocha.

If Dora were alive, she would have been the best candidate by far. However, there are very smart, less known candidates of Igbo extraction who can get the job done. Like you rightly indicated though, it's never handed down on a platter of gold.

If Yorubas like they should follow Tinubu into slavery. Miyetti Allah now has vigilantes operating inside Yoruba land.

Popular Lawyer Kayode Ajulo and his police escort interrogated some of them on the expressway in Ondo days ago. Notice the ID card has space for Emirate.

Lol. Kick Obi out say who die. And u think Obi as an igbo man will just keep quite and let him. Lol. Obi no be osinbajo wey be commissioner

You fail to realize that Yorubas and hausa went to war against the igbos.

And you people won.

Yet hausa run things. Which bullshit toe to toe can yoruba go with hausa. Lol. Any hausa man will find that statement funny. Yorubas are just a necessary ally to checkmate the igbos. Nothing else. No be only toe to toe na amala to oil

Do you think if igbos and hausa had gone to war against yorubas and won. Do you think we will let hausas run the show and misbehave. Hausas know that igbos are capable of checkmating them in anyway they want it.

The war is what gave hausas upper hand, nothing else. And they won due to British backup and lack of preparation on the part of the igbo. Yet we fought for 3years against hausa/fulani, yoruba, middle belt and almost all tribes in Nigeriq and yet we almost prevailed.
Infact we only gave up as a result of lack of food and hunger not because we were tired of fighting. But because our children were dieing of starvation due to Awolowo starvation approach of blocking food and aid entering biafra. This same awolowo that was one of the major reason of the first coup. And yet it was termed igbo.

Well some of you yorubas amaze u can keep running your mouth. Very funny people.

I remember experiencing riot in the north. And i even as an igbo man which we all know their riots are mostly targeted at us being christians and all; yet i was still able to save a yoruba friend against all odds. Go to jos when fulanis start attacking the indigines; it is the igbos residing there that team up with the locals and fight to withstand the fulani bandits
This same middle belt that have constantly been used agqinst igbos yet we show them love
Even during this benue massacre it was only us that spoke against it especially here on nairaland

Some of you Yorubas are just funny people.
You people fail to realise that after the war u should be having equal pie with hausas. We igbos didn't regard ourselves as Nigerians during the war. Hence we weren't Nigerians for 3good years; thereby giving you people a head start in the scheme of things and control of the country, the military and every single thing in Nigeria both economy and otherwise

But no u bitch ass niggers would prefer to spite the igbos. In your delusional grandeur u rejoice knowing the hausas love u more. Lol

After the war u guys hould be the one standing and challenging the hausas because you guys have equal stake in Nigeria

You guys have a 3years better claim to Nigeria than us

You're more Nigerian than i am

Because even though i wasn't born during the war; i still don't consider myself fully Nigerian but u on the other hand believes you 100% Nigerian

Long epistle...made little sense.

Get a life and stop making Nairaland a World Cup!

The Scottish war ended in 1357

The first Scottish prime minister was elected in 1762. 450 years later, yet still look at the treatment they gave him. Can your people wait for 100years and let’s see something after that.

1. John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute (1713-1792)

In office between 1762 and 1763, Stuart was the first Prime Minister from Scotland after the Acts of Union in 1707. He was deeply unpopular in England – his appointment was largely down to the fact that he was a favourite of George III – and he eventually resigned after a number of verbal and even physical attacks. Apparently the 18th-century expression ‘Jack Boot’, meaning a stupid person, originated as a comment about his term as Prime Minister.

Tony Blair is the last known PM of Scottish decent. That was 70years after the previous one.

Can you name the Spanish prime minister who is from Catalonia?

If you can’t then stay out of my mention with your beer pal our gist.

Using lies to gain sympathy. This is why your people can never be trusted with governance and the reason why no western country has taken your case seriously. They see through your lies.
Look up and see the lies you're spewing. Your tribe is known for lies since ages, so I'm not surprised. You say Tony Blair was the last Scotman to become PM of Great Britain? What was Gordon Brown?
You don't even know history and you're coming to spew lies. For your information the United Kingdom have had Prime Ministers from Scotland on numerous occasions.
In Spain where you showed your nauseating ignorance, Catalonians have become Prime Minister of Spain, pre war and post war. Go make your research before disgracing yourself.
Now, who is the dirty liar from a foul mouthed lying tribe? Whose tribe is the problem with Nigeria according to Emir Sanusi.
You see red and call it white when it favours you, and see white and call it red when it doesn't favour you. Igbo's using lies to gain sympathy gba gbuo gi nga!

We all know that Tinubu is the best choice for 2023 and he will do a good job by taking Nigeria where it should be. Igbos know this, that's why they have been trying to pit Yoruba against Fulani, and have Tinubu as their first and last word everyday of their lives.

Your pain is dripping all over nairaland. Why not just rest your head if you believe your own lies? You are scared to death of what is probable in what Junaid said. You igbos know what time it is and in panic mode. Your damn calculation is to go back to square one, your future is indeed dark and gloomy. See how you are being chased out everywhere from S.Africa to Ghana like street dogs, very soon, the Yorubaland that has given you refuge for so long will spit you out. If anything, Yoruba have all what it takes to sustain a country but same can't be said about Igboland, so you should be very afraid. God doesn't bless the wicked, whatever little you have as a people is stolen from others, your destiny is in the hands of your enemies, reason you are so angry and bitter.

Simple rule of a federating country. Never make any federating component feel unwanted, and never suppress any federating unit. Like one Yoruba writer once said, the current plan by apc may lead us into war.

If these guys think they will jointly suppress igbos, make we Brace up for another war be ghat. It is so unfortunate that we will allow these old, good for nothing leaders drag us into war again.

U don't make these type of comments man. Not on media. This is terrible. This man is shameless.

My dear, your observation is very decent. Only that SE is not helping itself.

Politics is a game of interest, intelligence and body language (polity).
Since the start of IPOB distraction and hate speeches, how many Igbo politicians have actively come out to denounce that ill-advised adventure?
At a convergence or at a gathering of politicians; leaders of other regions & power brokers would not really have much faith in the intentions of their colleagues from the SE.

A team of leaders from a region actively campaigning for the break-up of a company or a country has put itself at a disadvantage already.
‘’You can’t be trusted to lead a country your kids have threatened to burn down naaa”
Especially, when the elders from that place has made insignificant efforts at discouraging such pronouncements. If at all the adventure has been condemned by elected & respected SE leaders.

Their opposition (conventionally acceptable, though) and apathy of their people did them no favors. At the corridors of powers, our mean leaders have labelled the region as “5%ters” and you know that numbers are important in that game called politics.

The best leaders from the East can do is to ensure their region runs on a single voice. They have two options and both are WIN-WIN for them.
I. Choose to be Biafrans and be unapologetic about it but forgo whatever packages they are enjoying from their offices as leaders in Nigeria.

{It may be successful even, without bloodshed if they speak with same voice and are ready to forgo the luxuries of benefiting from Nigeria, YOU CAN’T EAT YOUR CAKE AND EXPECT TO STILL HAVE IT ON YOUR PLATE)}

II. Or stay with Nigeria and condemn their kids drumming for break-up.

If only they can take A STAND, they shall achieve success.
But Igbo problems are self-defeatism, internal division and indecision.

This has nothing to do with 'igbo problem'

We fail to understand that politicians in this country only care for their pockets. No politician will come out and agree to break up the country since they get fat pay.

It is us, the masses that supposed to be fighting for this bro. I really dont know why we have refused to see this. Look at the deputy govt of Kogi state, just between 2017 to 2019, he was not paid fully, he is still have over 700 million naira as outstanding salary and allowances.

It is not only igbos who need the change of this system of govt, the entire country needs it. But what i dont understand is why the same masses who need it go about insulting those who are bold enough to come out and say it is needed.

Politicians in this part of the world are selfish. So, dont make it look like it is only igbos who need this. As it is in the south east, that is how it is in other regions. Nigeria is same. The same no stable electricity, same no water, same bad roads, same poor looking cities, same unemployment, same insecurity, same poor education, same poor health care. In fact, north is worse hit.

So, expecting politicians in the east to speak out wont work since other politicians too dont. It is when the masses like Biafran supporters come out and speak that they need this, the govt will do something.

Any way, since the masses love suffering, no wahala, the country will remain like this. Like someone told me few days ago, these criminals called politicians are already preparing their kids for political positions. They send them abroad for education, when they come back, they take them and give them political appointment, preparing them for future leaderships when they die. The children of the poor masses, the average and even the rich will continue to be slaves.

Nigerian masses, the most foolish ever. I mean, what has presidency benefited any region? Why cant Nigerians understand that political appointments and positions are not dividend of democracy? why? even graduates dont know this! Why?

Dividend of democracy is a working society.
Re: Junaid Mohammed: I Will Rather Have Tinubu As President Than Igbo Man by datasthmagirl(f): 7:35pm On Jul 25, 2019
That's not going to happen. Power will stay in the north indefinitely until southern simpletons receive sense. In the present structure, no opposition party will gain power at the center again without fielding a northerner. #FACT.

seunmsg:
What is most important is for power to return to the south in 2023. The power rotation between the south and north must be respected. The two major political parties must field southern presidential candidates. Nigerians will then make their choice during the general election that must be free, fair and credible.

Dividend of democracy is a working society.

It is an African thing, (only that it has the European name, Stockholm Syndrome) from the North up to South of Nigeria. But brethren from the East says they don't care who leads in one minute, the very next minute you hear "marginalization", so it is difficult to understand why they react to these types of comments (such as Junaid's).

A lot of the Easterners believes secession is the best option. Same for a limited few from other regions, but many are okay with status quo. Similar to the lot who were quick to tell us IBB was a very good leader because of the ill-gotten wealth many of his cronies stole and frittered away back in those days. Today, they know better.

In short, a Freedom Fighter in a clime, is a Terrorist against (to) another group.

The insurgency in the North is a classic example of this Syndrome. The fools among the Northerners were thinking Boko Haram was their means of achieving a voice in the Land while the power was with a Southerner. Today, they are enjoying (suffering) the dividends of that evil.

The first step at resolving Nigeria issues is solely by returning to the pre-independence Federation (or even a quasi-Regional) pattern.

It takes elected leaders a painfully long time to realize that we are all in the sh-t together. Are their children and businesses safe today? They are only marginally better off when the card packs start to tumble down.
