CodeTemplar: ""Did Oyedepo call her a witch?"" Naturally as seen with all religious bigots '"Also note that churches are not built to convert people but built to accommodate people who have been converted."" We already have countless churches in each SE n SS cities n villages to accommodate converted people, we dont need more. |

PrecisionFx:Go to any Winners Chapel branch and ask for the procedure for the planting of a new church in the current church planting exercise. It is the people within the church who signify for one to be located in a remote location, most times people suggest for their place or village they come from. I know you saw that part when I talked about it before. Go and confirm it and stop the blind hate + delusion. |

No matter what you do, there'll always be those who will complain. Fortunately, their complaints haven't stopped the progress of the church thus far and never will. Some have ignorantly requested that the church take over government responsibilities of providing education, infrastructure and even welfare. This church has done more than enough in that direction, yet they complain that the education it provides isn't affordable even though they can't dispute it's world class. There are also those who are lovers of morality but inadvertently add their voice to the many misguided ones by harping on the preaching and teaching on morality. Fortunately again, a visit to any of the services will also convince you the drive isn't about prosperity but salvation and righteousness as the main crux, with prosperity as the "other things that will be added". Christians must be aware that morality isn't equal to righteousness. You can be the most morally upright person in the world and still end up in hell if you don't accept Jesus Christ. That's why churches must continually evangelize for people to be saved. When folks get saved, they get righteousness as a gift from God and the result of that is moral uprightness. Human efforts will never give that. For the information of those in that class, I currently do not attend Winners Chapel but I see any attack on any church as an attack on the entire body of Christ. If you truly love God, you'd be careful not to join the world against Christ's Church. Op's post is very replete with points showing that the bishop clearly hears from God before embarking on several evangelism drives that have seen to the consistent growth and dominion of the church over so many years. Now, that's someone who isn't on a trial and error mission. It takes intense commitment based on a time proven truthful vision to keep going that long in the face of daunting challenges and unending criticisms from disenchanted folks. I'll wrap up by stating that, "This Gospel is for real". Better believe. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Xpress24: I see u enjoy self deception. There 're winners churches across northern Nigeria, but u can't compare it with the number of churches in the south. In every city in the east, there are winners church branches in every street n lane in every nppk n cranny of each states. There are still tons n tons of communities in the north that needs Christianity, Oyedepo should focus there, he should also relocate to Kwara, his people are more than 80% Muslims |

PrecisionFx: You can never have enough of the gospel. The harvest is great but the labourers are few. Before Jesus ascended, the last statement he made was that we should make all nations His disciples. |

PrecisionFx: The churches provide the platforms that groom and nurture individuals into discipleship. Iron sharpens iron. Bible admonishes us not to forsake the assembly of the brethren. In Christianity, we need one another. Fellowship is the nucleus that keeps the fire burning and also serve as a support system to 'infants' in Christianity. |

Zionista: Primarily, there are enough churches in the SE n SS to accommodate, groom n nurture individuals into discipleship That is total falsehood. Jesus never built a church n never asked anyone to build a church in his name. |

PrecisionFx: Numbers of churches present at the moment is infinitesimal compared to Nigeria's blossoming population. No man (living or dead) has the moral, political or spiritual authority to put a cap on the number of churches that should service any population. When Jesus said "if you love me feed my sheep" You may want to believe that that it was literal food he was referring to. It simply connotes the ministering of the Word. Having a physical space to organize and feed the sheep is a no Brainer. |

Zionista: ""When Jesus said "if you love me feed my sheep" You may want to believe that that it was literal food he was referring to"" And u keep pretending like u don't know Jesus fed 5000 and 4000 of his followers on different occasions . ""Numbers of churches present at the moment is infinitesimal compared to Nigeria's blossoming population. "" False. The number of registered church sects in Nigeria was 20000+ some 2 years ago, if they have average of 50 branches each, that's 1,000,000 churches......Dats much more than needed. Do we have up to 1 million schools in Nigeria? Do we have upto 1 million industries in Nigeria? Pastor defender fight on |

PrecisionFx:You speak like a drunk comedian. Are Jesus' followers sheep? You keep using the number of industries to judge the church but is industrial growth part of the mandate handed to the church directly by God? What are you as a person doing? stop dictating to others and do yours let's see. You also switch to your dumb argument of Jesus feeding thousands with few but forget they went back to their normal lives after that. |
