Both are fanatics and deserves whatever punishment meted out to them.

At the rate we are going with religious fundamentalism, a Moslem doctor might say he or she won't treat a Christian And vice versa because... Religion is our biggest issue in Nigeria!

So what exactly is amiss with uni graduates wearing shorts in HOT HUMID Nigeria?

I realize that regrettably many Nigerians were reared on a diet of “repeat-after-me” in the cram-and-regurgitate methodology of what passes for ‘education’ in much of Nigeria, but (for seemingly the zillionth time) rules should NEVER be an end of itself. Sadly, that tendency to blindly and mindlessly follow rules has apparently manifested itself in the attendant incapacity (or perhaps inability, but I desperately hope not) to imbibe the sorts of disruptive culture that fosters innovation.

Even in football, players may wear short or long sleeves on the same team...
Players may even wear different colors of shoes, and of course goalkeepers wears a different color.

Rules are made for people (and by people), and not vice versa...
Thus key question is to what end the rules were made for, and is there only ONE way to achieve it.

the Israelite back then both men and women use to put on a gown like dress. the only difference was the style.

there are countries where men put on skirt , shirt and even with tie as dressing.
some Africans don't actually read from their holybook . they only do whatever they are told by religious leaders
