While I support citizens' rights to peaceful assembly, I do not entirely agree with the listed demands. While they're vague at best, the articulators are clearly socialists. I don't believe in socialism. |

Lying through your teeth has always been what you igbos do best. If Sowore had found a cure for cancer now, you will still be the first to say he's not Yoruba, what exactly is you igbo's problem? Sowore said he's not Yoruba and you know it, so why do you keep shouting Yoruba? Don't tell me you are seeing Yoruba in your dreams again. This is not Yoruba revolution but Nigerian. Adeyinka Grandson is the one doing Yoruba's revolution and it's about leaving Nigeria or atleast go back to regional govt. We omly support Sowore because we need anything to tilt Nigeria toward the cliff. If after waiting for hours to get on the bus going to Ibadan, you would want to get on Abeokuta bus with the hope of finding Ibadan bus there. This is why I support Sowore not that he's doing anything for Yoruba. All the demands he listed won't help Yoruba in anyway, we want out of Nigeria or a return to regional govt. chiagozien: |

When we keep saying that igbos are the same as Fulani, they want the same thing, other people's land and one Nigeria. Anyone who hate the way things are going in Nigeria will be supporting Sowore and hoping it leads us to what we really want, regional govt or secession. But because igbos want the same thing as Fulani but pretending to hate them in order to shift all the blame to the Fulani. GOOOGLE504: |

God bless the organizers ,if they don't put pressure on this Govt, therewill there will be no achievement in the next four years..The change they brought has been untold hardship ..we are so unfortunate to have Buhari as a leader..I regretted supporting the dullard 1 Like 1 Share |

This is not really about Buhari, the unitary system is the problem, Abuja breeds corruption. Even the best brains can't fix Nigeria, we need to go back to regional system of govt. I don't know why this is missing in their demands. I really hope no Yoruba dies to force Nigeria together. The demand is just not strong enough, all Nigeria needs is total devolution of power to the regions. |

I can get behind this movement if the exception clause in the abolishment of the death penalty is removed. Making exceptions is a stupid slippery slope that then allows argument for any number of arbitrary exceptions that will take us back to where we are. Abolish the death penalty once and for all, and I'll get behind this movement. Everything else is a pretty reasonable ask. 1 Like 1 Share |

I've not seen one Nigerian sympathise or hold a public concern about the alarming fall in price of crude comparing 1999 and now. I see our brothers shamefully applauding and encouraging Crude theft and pipeline vandals for no reason but hatred.. Obasanjo ruled this country for quite a few tenure, same as Yaradua and GEJ, will it be right to say most of these self inclined social and economical activists never had a true concern about progress of this nation on check as at those past tenure? However they paint this, it will always flag an indication to treason and disruption of peace and order which is ofcourse an international crime. I want to believe some of these agitators and organisers has critically weighed the consequences of these unguarded actions.. When the rule of law sets in, same Nigerians will clamour over refusal of the presidency to secure a release of someone standing a trial of international crime.. My humble opinion.. |

You missed out where it concerns youth the most, refusal to employed youth into government offices because all the slots belongs to the politicians, senior military officers, the rich and concubines children's. Take the case of DPR where they have refused to employ the children of the poor because they don't have big politicians at the top. Rather than employ those on merit list they are selling their slots to the highest bidders. A very big shame to DPR we thought they belong to the group who pride themselves to have the best practises. Even the foreign companies we thought had now sold their best practice to politicians for contracts. The leaders always keep the jobs for their children to finish NYSC, pass or fail the jobs are waiting for them. If this Revolution group are serious with this course they should DPR why they refused employ the youth with nobody the top. Someone says he called his constituency senator as he was advised to do, when he called he picked the call and he heard him chat away with loud laugh later came his response of who is this one disturbing me and he abort the call. Those are the people we vote for, constituency senators. |

Damod88: So rather than make a move that will give you 60% of success you'd rather stay in a failed position that has been existing before your birth? "Our lives improve only when we take chances -- and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves" - Walter Anderson Now be honest with yourself, are you happy with the situation of NIGERIA? Do you think politicians will wake up and change or amend Constitution that favours them? |
