I bet he will never loose the second term. Ambode offend many people that was why he lost his second term, when I heard that he want to ban danfo, that was when choose not to vote for his second term. But for sanwolu, the guy is just minding his business and he does not want to disturb anybody including transporters weda danfo or okada. He's just minding his business, am sure by next year sallah he will surely respond to their demand.

We have so many festive periods in this country. So government should start sharing food and money to people during times like this. Is that our priority. So we want to eat what's left of our future...na God go help us for dis country

Is it their personal money they are sharing? No, it is government money. Therefore, Oga let them share it. Whether they share it or they don't share it, these politicians will still steal billions out of government money for themselves and family to enjoy. And then still turn around to tax the poor people again one way or another. So let them share them food and gifts during festivities. It is part of government responsibility to feed the poor. And it is also good as a crime prevention strategy to reduce crime among the poor forced to steal to eat. Such free food and drinks go a long way for such people

Lagosians have lamented bitterly after visiting the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sallah day with the hope of getting food and money but ended up getting disappointed.

They were seen in a video gathered at the secretariat, Alausa Ikeja waiting for their Salah gifts from the state government but were all disappointed when they got nothing after standing outside the secretariat under the hot sun.

They also praised Ambode and Fashola saying he always gives them food on sallah day and 3k each.

He is an idiot, there is nothing bad in sharing with the needy during the festive period
He is playing with his second term

So, a governor has become an idiot because he doesn't want to share funds meant for serious government business?

Are Sallah gifts captured in Lagos budget?

Nigeria must be home to the world's highest concentration of dumb people.

See you kerosene sharing wasn't a request. A gesture shown during campaign. Why should some section of people demand Salah gifts from the Governor? Na only them sabi chop state Ram?

You are the dumb person here, things like that are covered in the budget as “miscellaneous” so he was wrong for not giving out gifts or it’s a must to wait till election period before sharing gift
Even in the developed world, government give out gifts and bonuses to the workers during the festive periods

Obviously, you are an ignoramus.

No standard budget makes a provision for "miscellaneous"

Go sleep!

Does he owe them?

If every Christian steps out on Christmas day for gift in Alausa, I doubt if anything would be left in the treasury.

In fact they do.
This is the practice in Lagos whether Sallah or Christmas.

Sanwo Olu needs to do the right thing. This is part of grassroot politicking. When he was campaigning he went to visot all these people for support. They are are not asking him to feed them everyday....a once a year appreciation is not too much to ask from Governor. He donated millions to football team that did not deserve it, why not reach out to people in the state that welcomes the gesture and will appreciate him?

Salah should be alien to the south if not for Yoruba.

the practice of using public funds as gift should stop in Nigeria. if you can't afford to celebrate Christmas or Salah, just drink water and sleep in your bed

It is obvious u are obsessed with yoruba, we have salah in the south, we have it. if it pain u, hug transformer

You people allowed Tinubu to dribble your mindset and bring in the Sanwo Olu.

Enjoy your TINUBU - BUHARI next level !

Oshiomole wanted to try the TINUBU COUP D' ETAT in Edo state but things backfire and he beat a retreat with an embarrasing reconcilation with governor Obaseki.

Lagosian should not be too docile especially with the way the likes of Tinubu is turning them around.

They should reset their thinking faculty and call Tinubu to order.
Sanwo-Olu is a good option. He's doing well.

Don't joke with sharing when it comes to a yoruba person, Sanwo-Olu does play with fire.
