The program is a partnership between public and private institutions with the main goal of rewarding talented students. The selection process doesn´t take the personal /parents´ income nor the respective nationality into consideration.

Good morning @Intelligentdude and @Stenon, I have been following this thread from the beginning till this present moment and I must admit that you guys have been great and helpful.

Am an accounting graduate with 4.23 on 5 point GPA scale. I love to do my MSC in either Canada or UK. Am currently observing my NYSC which will end by June 2020.

The issue now is that, should I start the processing for scholarship now or I should wait till I finish and also, I will need ur help on the schools to apply for which I would have a better chance of been admitted and at the same time given the scholarship.

ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarship
The scholarship is designed to support postgraduate students of outstanding research promise undertaking higher degree by research at ECU. The scholarship is offered on the basis of academic merit and research performance. The scholarship includes a stipend of $28,420 per annum to be paid fortnightly via electronic funds transfer and tuition fee sponsorship. Other benefits include a relocation allowance (where applicable) and Overseas Students Health Cover (where applicable). The duration of the scholarship will vary depending on the duration of the course, up to two years for a Master by research and up to 3 years for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Integrated PhD.
