If Nigerians living in South Africa are involved in criminal activities, the options available to the host country is to prosecute the criminals to the full extent of the law and deport them thereafter but not to kill the innocent ones. I bet you the ones that are involved in crimes most likely are not the ones that a running these mom-and-pop shops that are often the target of these angry mobs. My advise to the government of south Africa is to be even more selective in the applicants it grants visas to. Embassies usually suspect a person who can not show an established trend of legitimate means of income as evidenced by his bank account but can only show a sporadic substantial amount of deposits in the account. This would help restrict the human traffickers, fraudsters and drugs dealers from entering the country in the first place.
