First off, his curt replies were uncool... until I read further and saw that he was already pissed about what you did.

From the conversation, I deduce that your boyfriend's grouse with you is that you don't seem free enough with him.

I mean, you're his girlfriend...y'all have been together for four years, so he expects that at this stage you should be super comfy with him... free to say or ask anything of him. Instead you're still acting all guarded and formal. Just look at all your analysis before... barely because you want to ask him for money.

He sees it as pride... and it sees it as you failing to recognise what you are to him...and to act accordingly.

Interestingly, I think I'm like you in certain ways. I really find it difficult to ask. I can whine for Africa, to outrightly ask? Big deal.

Regardless, his disrespect towards her is justified.

I don't know how u guys allowed it to reach this extent, you say u have been dating for years now but you guys are not giving that vibe that comes with spending time with someone.

From your chat it is obvious that recently u guys have been having problems communicating and that's a major issue. For him to say the only thing that makes u his girlfriend is sex shows how distant u guys have become. The truth is u guys can go back and forth throwing blame and it won't solve anything.

The best thing would be to have a serious conversation with him, be the bigger person and apologize and all the bad things you do that he doesn't like you have to stop it and you have to tell him the bad things he does that needs to be changed [/b]Nobody[b] is perfect.

Both of u have to want it to work.
