I disagree with Obasanjo. One of the key factors to consider in establishing a business is a stable and peaceful environment which South Africa is not.

This is what happens when leaders, especially in Africa, grow very rich and disconnected from the masses. They talk insensitively and senselessly. Those returnees chose the difficult option to come back to Nigeria, of their own free will and volition, yet OBJ wants to encourage them to go back to the land they fled because of experience so bad the preferred to leave abandoning the lives they have built.

Why should OBJ, if sincere, not attempt to meet with and assist these returnees to settle in Nigeria? South Africans are not sorry. It is their leaders playing diplomacy with our leaders. The average South African male remain very hateful and envious of Nigerians. Fact is that Nigeria could be the best place to live on earth, because of her people, if the Government prioritise 24/7 electricity, adequate transport infrastructure, high class education, effective healthcare and security as building blocks of a great Nigeria.
