capitalzero: You're just making excuses. Nigerians speak English as a national language and there are countries who developed without free basic education. |

MASTERCHIEF0847: Official language is different from national language. How many Nigerians speak English? Illiteracy rate is almost 60% and national languages are even taken into consideration. |

And if you think language cannot unify us then forget development in Nigeria. In Malaysia, China,Singapore,Japan, two major factors unite them: religion and Language. Majority of people, more than 60% belong to the same religion or speak the same language, then you have minority religions or languages. To underscore important of language in unifying people, God scattered language of Earth and there was confusion. Gen 11. Also, in unifying his empire Alexander the great enforced Greek language in all the conquered territories. 1 Like |

nakaman: Hausa Fulani have different civilization from the people of Southern Nigeria, there is nothing that can ever unite we and them, you can't expect me to leave Igbo to speak Hausa, for what kwanu, is Hausa language for studying science? Language is not our problem because we already have English to communicate with already, I was only attacking you for mentioning Fulani minority Language. In the North their are some tribes that have lost their languages and now speak Hausa as their first language yet the original Hausa people don't see them as their people, the original people call them ''BANZA BAKWAI'' they see them as slaves and you want others to still take their language. you listing Hausa Fulanis for all Nigerians is an insult to Igbo and Yoruba people and others. We already speak English. What we really want is restructuring and decentralization of power or disintegration. The North is one of the major reasons we are backward as a country. |

AgonyOfHell:as a matter of fact ,am of the same opinion with you. I WANT each major tribe to go its seperate. The restructuring your talking of will not work. What do you think N.E.E.D.S was for. There are many empowerment schemes which has failed. This country expired since 2014. 1 Like 1 Share |

ornicus: The great wall of China can't be seen from space with the naked eyes, do your research well, It's depend of your own definition of space/outer space, na myth be that. when they say China is 70 yrs old, they are talking of modern China, if you listened to the Chinese representative in recent UN meeting, the communist party admitted that China re-emerged as a new born Nation. China then was not a country before, 1 Like |
