Omonoba1981: I have a family friend, where student visa was rejected from London office. And we plan sending a mail to get something straight.
We have send mail like 5 times to LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca.Was wondering if there existing any other number where we can send a mail to? |

The increase in processing time is usually due to excessive verification of documents due to ‘fraud’ If they were not carrying out too much verification on Nigeria applications even if they have millions of applications they could still process them swiftly. Hence we can conclude it’s due to fraudulent documents detected in the past by ircc. Too many applications is another factor but not the major. Aaron321: Hmmm.. I dont understand where you got this ridiculous conclusion. all I pointed out is him saying cos of fraud, processing time increases..Biko it's caused by too many applications at a period of time... |

Exactly what I was going to say. They are treating Nigeria applicants the same way irrespective of where you are applying from. It’s just sad. It is well. Am applying in September ending waynee2baba: For where? Nothing has changed! I sent another one on Monday. E be like say these guys dey treat big man like say I be Nigerian applicant o. My course starts on October 31st, so I'm big chilling but I still need decision ASAP.
Still hoping for the best, no shaking. When are you submitting yours? |

Congrats! How much is your tuition for 2 years? Olayemi360: Canadian Study Permit Approval. Yhhh!. May 21st Applicant Paper Route. Upfront Medicals- Passed 21st May 2019 Eligibility review and background check started almost immediately. Received a Correspondence Letter 7th August 2019 Status Changed to Application Approved 9th August.
Submitted all documents, Secondary School, University, and other documents. School- Grande Prairie College Alberta, Diploma Business Admin 2 years
Statement of account of sponsor, my dad However on the 5th of July the embassy requested for a bank ticket and password saying the bank statement I submitted is fraudulent, closing account 6 million Naira. I was a bit scared, but man remained strong.
My take on this, just submit the required documents and make sure no fraudulent documents, if you'll be given the visa, you will be given. |

waynee2baba: Yeah bruv. I applied on the 14th of July from the UK. Biometrics on the 16th. Biometrics completed on the 19th. The average processing time is 2-3 weeks from the UK. This is the third week, so hopefully decision go land this week. Or by next week, I go query them small Again my financial documents are from Nigeria, maybe that's why it's taking this long. |

This case is easy. Just obtain a new admission letter and address a letter to IRCC notifying them of the refusal reason and that you have obtained an updated admission letter and ask them to kindly reconsider your application ion.. attach you appeal letter and the new offer letter and send to their email. That should do. bimmie85: Hello Gurus in the house,
I am posting this for my cousin who was just delayed. The only reason stated for the delay was that the admission letter has expired. I will appreciate any useful information from the house on how to address this. The school resumption and last date for registration was stated on the admission letter as May 17, 2019, but CIC didn't take a decision on the application until that deadline passed and they rejected it. Her application also went beyond the processing time, and she sent CSE severally to notify them after 9 weeks of normal processing has passed to inform them of the impending deadline. Her upfront medicals was updated as passed since April 5, 2019 too, and rejection letter came in yesterday (May 23, 2019).
This was what was indicated in the letter:
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• Your letter of acceptance, required by subsection 219(1) of the Regulations, has expired. If your acceptance is renewed/extended, consideration may be given to reconsidering your decision.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
Below is her timeline of application:
Application submitted online (with upfront medicals): Jan 21, 2019 Biometrics: Jan 22, 2019 Medical passed: April 5, 2019 Correspondence for delay: May 23, 2019).
She has informed the school today to see if an extended admission letter can be issued for September term, but we are interested in ways/how to reopen this application, and not reapply completely, if that is possible.
Thank you in anticipation of your response(s). |

Aphrodite007: Was I meant to apply to 150 Unis? Anyway, me and all my friends that studied in the UK did not write any English test. I have sha made my point, take or leave it. Once you score c and above, U.K. Uni will give you admission . Some of the uni might just want you to put it in ur personal statement that you want to use you waec result. Also they accept if you have a letter from your uni in Nigeria that the medium of instruction was in English dats all. I usually apply to several uni for family and friends and it works sooooooo. |
