My IELTS result came in today LRWS 8.5, 8.5 ,7,7. I just weak. CRS score now is 464, losing points after birthday (31).

Do you guys think I should request for a remark for WS? Is there a chance of the speaking and writing increasing the band to 7.5 so I can max out the remaining 6 points? Before I waste 27k on the remark.

I don tire. I cannot take this exam again. Any hope with that 464 score if the maxing out doesnt work?

I didn't get any notification that it has been received at IRCC for processing. I only got a notification that it was in transit to IRCC. Then got a mail this morning that it has been received at Canada visa application centre.

Checked my account and saw that counterfoil has been generated.

I guess they are not updating us at every step.

Canada currently is having it's highest ever job vacancies rate, which stands at over 1 million job vacancies, and can only be filled with foreign workers who work in occupations in demands that contributed to those high job vacancies rate, and not by having a high CRS score, with job NOC that has very low job vacancies rate in Canada
Aside the plan to make Federal skilled workers ITAs to be by occupations in Demand, From this year till 2024, Overs 60% of express entry ITAs this will now come from PNPs and no more Federal skilled workers because the Provinces who are badly affected by this huge job vacancies will only invite express entry candidates who profile meet the growing job needs in their respective provinces.

Oga calm down, no vex. People will only speak from where their own knowledge starts. Technically he's not wrong. Immigration rules aren't for you but for the host country or do you think Canada is letting so many in out of the mere goodness of their heart? No. There has to be something for the country to gain. It's a bitter pill but one you must swallow. What will happen will happen, you do have the right to not be happy about it though. Same thing happened to Australia and it's immigration process.
Besides if you follow IRCC, every 10 years or so, there a major change to the immigration policy or a reform made.

For the time and money you're talking about, this is the same IRCC that let people(they call them applications) wallow for almost two years, without substantial info about resumptions, dates etc just left people in the dark. Those people are the true Israelites in this Journey. Unfortunately the Canadian immigration system still leaves a lot to be desired, they'll get better.
Keep hope alive! May the new bill favour us.

I did, I submitted on 4th of May. Picked up my passport today from DHL. My profile wasn't updated until my passports was on its way back, so don't worry if you are not getting notifications.

April 28th- package sent via dhl (couldn’t get 2-way done at that terminal)
May 4th- vfs lagos received package due to the long weekend.
May 5th - lagos vfs dispatch to Accra vfs
May 24th- received in accra vfs/ transit to ircc
May 25th- received in ircc
June 3rd- processed passport back to Accra
June 9th - passport received in lagos

Seems I can’t have dhl pick it up (according to their CSR); Now I gotta pay 15k to get it sent via lagos vfs courier.

Second update was 26th May, Received at Canada visa application centre Ghana and is in transit to IRCC office in Ghana.

Nothing since then

Maybe it hasn’t been updated, it should be with ircc by now.

They sent it to Accra Ghana on the 6th of May
On the 24th of May they said it had gotten to Canada VFS office Accra, and I haven’t heard anything back since then ��

It’s been more than 6 weeks already

I am in the process of applying for MBA in Thompson Rivers University but need clarification on the application.
I have a first degree in Agric and changed my field by having a second bachelors degree in Applied Accounting. My Question is Should i exclude the first bachelor degree in Agric from the application since its not relevant to the proposed discipline (MBA) ?

Can it affect my chances of getting admission in the school if included?
