A day set aside, for women to go bra-less. This means that a woman can go out with her normal outfit without a bra underneath. Meanwhile, some make beautiful displays of art with their bra-less bodies to celebrate no bra day.

The annually No bra day was reportedly created in 2011. This years own happen to fall on a Sunday, which is today.

The No bra day campaign was created with the aim of creating awareness to women from around the world to regularly go for breast cancer screening.

Furthermore, the occasion may be liberating (and so much more comfortable) for some women, the event is not without controversy.
Some find the event quite offensive. But No Bra Day helps raise awareness about a very important cause - breast cancer.



Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in American women. Despite the many advances in cancer treatment and great progress over the years, the cause of breast cancer is still unknown.
According to the National Cancer Institute, it is estimated that more than 230,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and 40,000 will die.
