Very pathetic! Just registered for IELTS class on Monday and only to be disappointed by the absent of coordinator on Tuesday. I was told to come back on Saturday again for refund if the coordinator didn't show up. I'm tired of the whole thing because this negligence is a sign of something. Who can help me with good IELTS lecture center that I can catch up with good results in a month or any other online class
Precisely, mainland or Ebutta Metta axis. Thanks

Hi,
You don’t need any practice center to ace the IELTS test. Get all the tips to pass the test from all of these:
1. https://ieltsonlinetests.com/ (Excellent for listening)
2. IELTS with Jay (YouTube video.. very good for writing and reading tips)
3. IELTS with Liz (Very good for speaking)
If you keep practicing with these three resources you will do very well. I used ONLY those resources to practice for IELTS for only two weeks and my scores were LSRW: 8.5, 8.5,8.5 and 7.0 on my very first attempt.

All the best!

I spent between 6-8 hours per day. As you keep practicing you build your confidence and begin to spend less hours. That’s when you’ll know you’re ready for the exam. I found the link particularly helpful since I wrote computer based IELTS

So i recently got PPR and I am trying to obtain as much as possible from this country but departure. I've been thinking, is the CIPM diploma of any relevance whatsoever in Canada (WES evaluated obviously).

I am a HR personnel with more than 4 years of experience but have both my degrees in Engineering. You know the story: life, lemons, lemonade.

Is CIPM relevant in Canada?
Did WES evaluate your CIPM successfully? Thanks

I successfully did that for my spouse recently. Just use the itranscript, make the required payment and attach/upload the cert. or any other doc you wish to send to WES and unn will include them in the package while sending your transcript to Wes.
Note, you will need to pay extra fee for verification when wes sends it back to unn for verification

Bro the verification fee is 10k right?
Someone said smtn about paying for the two

Of course not, its an actual exam. You need to try your best and practice without pausing and rewinding so as to get used to it and get the right answers the first time.

I have been following this thread since last year and I appreciate people that initiate this group and support people. I am starting my process this year. My wife the primary applicant and me the secondary applicant.

THESE ARE MY QUESTION,

1. i will only need to evaluate my wife MSC and not both BSC and MSC?
2. i the secondary applicant will also evaluate my Bsc too?
3. my wife and I run businesses (i'm an interior designer and also an electrical engineer) she also has her business too. We both don't have any evidence of salary or so, because we receive alerts of business transaction in our bank account. WILL THIS AFFECT US CHOOSING OUR NOC?

I WILL APPRECIATE A KIND RESPONSE. THANKS

Okay Thanks! i have searched CIC and am just confused with their classification in some position. may be i will paste my role and task here for the guru in the rum to help me identify my NOC code.
Silversurfer1:

Hi. I'm not conversant with the different NOCs. If you post your job description here, others could help you or you can just browse the NOCs on the CIC website and pick the one which matches your job description the most.

Congratulations! I hope we all get to sing the same song soon.
Pls house, I have some issues bothering me. I'll be waiting for your response so I know the next step to take.

I was in a marriage that failed 6yrs ago and produced 2 kids, both staying with me. My passport has my maiden on it.
1)How do I show my work experience when my surname then was that of the ex?
I have a newspaper publication showing change of name from my current name (maiden) to his own name. (Then, I just got married).
I also have a court wedding certificate, I dont know if that helps.
2)My pension statements are also in my married name, how do I use this as proof of funds?

Thank you, awaiting your knowledgeable responses.

It is not advisable to put whatsapp links on public platforms like these. Random people can join and clog up your group. I think you should take this down

1) Are you officially divorced? If not your marriage certificate will suffice to show that you bear your husband name. Include the publication and change of name affidavit.

It’s not a crime to have been married change your name and change back to your maiden name after a failed marriage

But make sure you also submit your divorce papers as well

Have you gotten change of name documents that show that you are back to your maiden name? Do you have documents such as divorce documents and other documents that show that you have full legal rights over your children?
1. Get the reference in your maiden name. They can put in a sentence like "Miss Okunuga (formerly Mrs. Adebowale) was hired as blah blah blah"
2. Tell the pensions people you want to change your name. Do your change of name documents and you will be fine to use it.

The bigger question I have for you here is that IRCC will be concerned that you are illegally taking the children away from their father. So they need either the father's express permission or court documents saying that the father no longer has a right on his children or something like that, I may be wrong. Because you might end up having to do an interview and they are going to be so bring the father along to be sure he's okay with this.
Look for Kubeir immigration on Facebook. He's an immigration lawyer that may be able to help.
