No Mass Storage mode on the Galaxy Nexus. Also no flash installed.
Phone runs on a 1.2GHz processor with the ageing SGX 535 GPU.

With the influx of quad core Tegra 3 phones in Q1 2012 (we'll see a lot more on these at CES 2012) why exactly are people so excited about the Galaxy Nexus?

No mass storage mode is a deal breaker for me.
cant believe they didnt put that!
well i hope with updates or custom ROMs it should be fixed

Yes, but my other points still stand.
In 1.5 months time, we'll be seeing CES 2012. There will probably be at least 5 phones with Quad core Tegra 3 processors (increased performance, far better GPU, improved battery life) which will easily blow away the Galaxy Nexus from a performance and gaming point of view.

Most or all of these devices will come with a MicroSD slot, something the GN lacks.

Did you update your phone before attempting root?

Cyanogen Mod 7 is a custom ROM designed to give added functionality and advanced functions to android devices. Since you have this ROM installed already, you are rooted! Rooting simply means granting super user account functions to your phone. As for your phone eating too much data, go to your sync settings are see which applications do not need to be constantly updated.
Also go through this thread for detailed information on how to make the most use of your Droid device. Trust me, you will find a lot of invaluable information. Happy Droiding!!! grin

From the look of things . . . . .i think they dont want to be putting SD slots on Nexus series. . .take a look at other models in the series
Well their loss. . i dont even see what the hype is about the phone anyways undecided

Some dude on Xda-Devs released an AOSP ICS Rom for the Nexus S that is reputed to run pretty well. No major missing stuff in that build.

the aurora browser is just a portable browser to run and effect ur commands on Tor; once it shows the google music page, just close it and go to ur normal browser u use on ur pc e.g firefox, chrome etc and run it again. . . well i guess if u have been using the browser u shd hv installed n updated the flash player.
You can even delete the Tor folder installed on ur PC cos u dnt need it any longer

as per google music app , . . there's a link on the endgadget page where u got the info; or better yet just google 'google music apk' an ushd get a link where u can download to ur pc n transfer to fone n install.
cheers

GOOD DAY,
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM?

I USE HTC TOUCH PRO 2, AND I DO LOVE THE PHONE.
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE CHALLENGES I HAVE WITH THE PHONE:

1. IT RUNS ON A WINDOWS MOBLIE 6.5 PROFESSIONAL - CAN I UPGRADE IT?

2. WHEN I TRY TO DOWNLOAD ANY APP FROM ANDROID MARKET AFTER LOGGING IN IT SAYS: There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account.

KINDLY HELP.
REGARDS.

With the influx of quad core Tegra 3 phones in Q1 2012 (we'll see a lot more on these at CES 2012) why exactly are people so excited about the Galaxy Nexus?

No mass storage mode is a deal breaker for me.
It was the same with the Google Nexus phone that put me off. 16GB and no external storage? I can't believe they've done the same with the Galaxy Nexus. I'd rather buy the Samsung equivalent.

Adobe actually stopped flash support for mobile devices this month, Switching their full attention to HTML 5.

Re: Android, Anyone? by 4llerbuntu(m): 3:19pm On Nov 23, 2011
i dont get u folks, why would a phone that does not have expandable storage need to have usb mass storage mode?

and really, r u complaining just to be noticed? 16 gb is sufficient lots of pple, and i doubt that most folks complaining here have up to that anyway. how many of us will ever buy a 32Gb microsd card? costs as much as a fone in some cases
