Why not name the damn country after the tribalist, arrogant, thieving, "genius". The true story will eventually be told that he, for a long time prevented the Yoruba from participating in mainstream national politics.Why? Simply because he was not to lead such national effort. Chief Awolowo deserve nothing negative or positive from Nigeria because he is an unadulterated Yoruba tribal leader, not a Nigerian leader and never pretend to be one, just like our Ikemba. So let the dead honour their dead.
Zik, Murtala, Akintola, Balewa, Ironsi, those are few Nigerian leaders, not Awo, Ikemba, Ahmadu Bellos of this world.

By the way, do they still play sports at liberty stadium? God know the state of the edifice now, if much bigger and better Surulere is now hosting all sorts of rodents.
