Yesterday evening, I was sipping my drink @ a local bar.

A man in his early 50 made a remark, he said; " If a young man gets
married between 25yrs to 30yrs, he is getting married too early." He went
on to say that, a man need to be with (don't know if he mean't sexually being with)
as many women as possible, to learn their ways ans then settle with one. This he said,
will make it hard for the man to be surprised at whatever the wife does when they are
eventually married. He told me that this is the advice he gives to his children, both girls and
boys. Haba!

I think, its not too early, 25yrs is a good age to marry.
If the person in question, is matured emotionally, financially,
spiritually and socially.

What is your take on this.

Except ur parents did not get married on time, if not, calculate the age ur parent gave birth to their eldest child then u will no that our generation is a little bit slow and if we continue like this our children will call us papa instead of daddy

i heard someone using igbo culture as a reference here. better still, we can turn to Yoruba culture where a male child of 16 year is a father of two from two different chics grin. that is why touts can't quit Lagos, simply because there are whole lots of bastsrd(s) perambulation all over the streets of that city, lulz

Marriage is meant for two matured minds ok, meaning i doubt figuring out a matured young man at 25. of course, ladies are matured at that age and due for marriage

as long as you can provide for your wife, i do not have any objections to that, if only you get married and keep running to mom and dad for help that make sick. to be married is a big step follow by a child if your in europe that is fine u can pick up job and state will help but in nigeria no way. we have so many children with little or no education all that very bad. if my son is willing to get marring fine but he is on his own.

It is too young here. Most guys and girls arent thinking of marriage til 30. They are too busy with careers and education and having fun. Depends on the culture i guess but its unusual to see someone here getting married that young.

If a man can stand on his own two feet, has a stable income to support his family, is willing to take responsibilities as a man, a husband and a father, and is above 18 years old! i dont see why he cannot get married. undecided
