Ghanaian traders shut down more Nigerians’ shops by Kwanza: 11:25am On Nov 12, 2019
Fifteen more shops belonging to Nigerians were shutdown yesterday by members of the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) at Opera Square in Accra, bringing the number of shops to about 70.

The latest showdown is part of GUTA’s plan to cripple Nigerian businesses in the nation’s capital.

Nigerian businesses at the Tip Toe Lane at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle are believed to be the next in line, as it was gathered that GUTA plans to lock up the Nigerian shops in the area today.

The national president of the Nigerian Union of Traders Association in Ghana (NUTAG), Chukwuemeka Nnaji, has advised his members to close their shops today to avoid destruction of their goods and businesses.

Meanwhile, the timely intervention of police officers and the Nigerian Mission in Ghana averted a major clash between members of GUTA and NUTAG yesterday.

Keep closing until you are tired of closing but we wont open our land border for you.

You will soon start closing your own shops too because of the severe hardship that you will face and thats when we will laugh last

The fight between Nigeria and Ghana is like that between the US and China.

Ghana is having a field day dealing with Nigerian businesses and the world kept quiet.

When Nigeria goes hard on them, every Tom, Dick and Harry will start condemning the Nigerian government.

Even in dreams, Nigeria and Ghana are no equals.

The only countries that can withstand Nigeria's might on the continent are South Africa and Egypt.

Why are the Ghanians shouting about this border closure more than those Countries that share borders with us?
They keep bragging they don’t need Nigerian commodities, why the hostilities towards legit foreign trader in their country ?
There’s truly more to this. This hypocrites just want to use this as an opportunity to show their hatred and jealousy.

These neighboring countries don't love us and don't want to see us progress, everybody is just looking for what he or she can benefit from us Nigeria, it's time for us to stick together help ourselves and forget about these people, but definitely they would regret their actions
