Have you ever read the KJV Bible, which is the first universal Bible for the English speaking people, and compare it with your own JW Bible?

Please do and you will know the Truth and it will set you free.

Also forget about the whole Bible being written in the Hebrew and Greek languages, every Bible scholars know about that. And moreso all the existing Bible versions were translated from these original texts, including yours.

Also, that sacred Word Yahweh or Yehovah or Jehovah means The LORD GOD, so your JW version mentioning the sacred name all through does not change anything, it is the same I AM THAT I AM. GLORY BE TO HIS HOLY NAME.

Kindly visit spiritlessons.com site and gets spiritual books for your enlightenment. Remember common religious adherence or sect will not get you to heaven (be it Catholics or Orthodox or Pentecostal or JW), it is your personal relationship with the LORD that will open the gates of HEAVEN to you.

Good. According to KJV, holy spirit is an " it " , Do you agree ? Romans 8:26

The bunch of Americans who claims to be the faithful and discrete slave in 1914 are no more on earth today!

Well Jesus claimed so many things about his relationship with the Almighty God! John 10:30

The Jews objected vehemently to so many things he said majority of his followers even deserted him{John 6:64-66}, they planned to kill Jesus and they succeeded, but what the scriptures promised that will occur in connection with those whom the Messiah will given the power of God's holy spirit {Joel 2:28} was evident when the Christians began operating!

Jesus was NO MORE PHYSICALLY operating with them, but nobody can deny (with what was happening through the ministry of the Christians) that their claim that Jesus has been raised from the dead was a lie! Act 3:12-16

Today those Americans who claimed that Jesus came INVISIBLY and chose them as the faithful and discrete slave are NO MORE PHYSICALLY operating with Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide. But let's compare the two scenarios!

The Jews who denied that Jesus can't be the promised Messiah(Christ), their descendants are still hoping that another prophet will come as the Christ, their own scriptures is just the 39 books from Genesis to Malachi. Whereas throughout the earth, billions of Bibles (Complete from Genesis to Revelations) has been printed and distributed in hundreds of languages! So that the Jews are no more relevant as far as pure worship is concerned!

Those Americans asserted that Jesus appointed them in 1919, all other religionists claiming Christians discarded the idea. Today all those religions are still operating but they can't stand side by side with those operating under the arrangement set by the 1919 Americans, their members can't preach and teach effectively like Jehovah's Witnesses, their teachings is not grounded in the minds of their followers like Jehovah's Witnesses, there is no strong bond in their midst like Jehovah's Witnesses, when talking of the religion to think of FIRST as pace setters in Christianity people always remember Jehovah's Witnesses!

Well, i'll say "even if those Americans aren't here today to defend their seemingly wrong assertions, Jehovah's Witnesses globally are enough proof that something truly occurred in 1919!" smiley

Nothing happened in 1919, if you hold unto 1919 it means you are still holding unto the expired 1914 doctrine.

See below why only ignorant fellows believed the ideas you pasted up there:

Watchtower Society Redefines '1914 Generation'
James K. Walker

People alive in 1914 may not live to see Armageddon after all, according to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society's latest doctrinal revision. In the 1 November 1995 Watchtower, Jehovah's Witnesses abandoned their decades-long belief that Christ's. words "This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled" (Matthew 24:34) was a reference to the people living in 1914 (p. 17).

Simultaneously, the Watchtower dropped all reference to 1914 from their Awake! magazine's "Why Awake! Is Published" masthead. The previous version read: "Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away" (22 October 1995). The new version reads "Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world that is about to replace the present wicked lawless system of things" (8 November p. 4).

With those alive in 1914 being at least in their 80s, the Watchtower was apparently willing to concede that the time had expired on their 1914 prediction. Critics and former members had anticipated that the Watchtower's leaders would eventually be forced to make some change in the 1914 doctrine (See Expositor, Vol. 9, No. 6; Vol. 12, No. 3). George Weissman, who left the Watchtower in 1992, told the Los Angeles Times, "I've been waiting to see how they were going to wriggle out of 1914" (21 October 1995).

Calling it a "more precise viewpoint," the Society attempts to salvage portions of their earlier 1914 doctrine while avoiding its obvious weakness (Watchtower, 1 November 1995, p. 20). They still teach that 1914 started the "last generation," but they have changed their definition of the word "generation." Rather than a reference to people who were living in 1914, the term generation now means an unspecified length of time that is relatively short "compared with the thousands of years of Satan's rulership" (Ibid., pp. 18-19).

This new doctrine buys the Watchtower some much needed time. In a telephone interview with Watchman Fellowship, Malcolm Allen, a local Watchtower leader, could give no "biblical" reason why Armageddon could not be hundreds of years away according to this new interpretation. By solving one problem the Watchtower has created several others. Critics now have more opportunity to raise questions concerning false doctrine and failed prophecy (See related story: "A Watchtower History of 1914" p. 4).

Even the Watchtower's staunchest supporters may have reason to be troubled by the new doctrine. Many loyal witnesses, quite naturally, have made important personal education and career decisions based on the "Creator's promise" that the end would come within the lifetime of those alive in 1914. It is easy to see how plans concerning children, savings, finance, and even life insurance would be greatly influenced by the promise that God's "peaceful and secure new world" would arrive during the life span of those alive in 1914. They would have every right to be upset or have doubts concerning their leaders after they announce this "more precise viewpoint."

Similar reinterpretations led to hge losses in membership following failed predictions concerning 1925 and 1975 (Jehovah's Witnesses Proclaimers of Christ's Kingdom, p. 633).

"Sheep and Goat Judgment" Also Delayed
In a related move, the Watchtower has also announced that the current door-to-door work is not the sheep and goats judgment spoken of by Jesus. For decades the Watchtower claimed that knocking on doors and making converts was "separating the sheep from the goats" judgment foretold by Christ (Matthew 25:31-46). After 1914 failed to bring Armageddon as originally announced, the Watchtower had slowly reinterpreted their prediction claiming that 1914 was the year that Jesus "sat down in judgment" in heaven. Since 1914, the Watchtower had supposedly been helping Jesus with that judgment by "separating the sheep from the goats." The "sheep" were those who became Jehovah's Witnesses and supported the Watchtower while the "goats would be "destroyed because they fail to help Christ's anointed 'brothers' in their service to God" (You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth, p. 183).

Apparently the Society feels that the judgment period has stretched too far. Its been over 80 years since the judgment began in 1914. They are now saying the Bible, "does not show that such judging would continue over an "extended period of many years" (Watchtower, 15 October 1995, p. 22). So the Society now says that Christ sat down as King in 1914, but he did not sit down as Judge in that year. "Although Jesus is now King of the Kingdom, his further activity mentioned in Matthew 19:28 will include sitting on a throne to judge during the Millennium. At that time he will judge all mankind. . ." (Watchtower, 15 October 1995, p. 21). So the sheep and goats judgment is not current since 1914, it is the future - during the Millennium.

The importance of this doctrinal change is magnified by the fact that the Watchtower had in effect caled their old interpretation a revelation from Jehovah. They claimed that, "The Lord revealed to his people the meaning of the parable of the sheep and the goats, showing how the 'sheep' only would be spared by Jehovah when his wrath is expressed at Armageddon. All this information came not from or by man, but by the Lord God. . ." (Watchtower, 1 February 1938, p. 35). Obviously, their old interpretation could not have been "revealed" by Jehovah since they now admit that their old "meaning of the parable" was wrong. Moreover, how can only those judged as "sheep" be spared, and the "goats" be destroyed, at Armageddon, when the "sheep and goats judgment" does not take palce until during the Millennium, after - not before - Armageddon.

Both doctrinal changes are seen by critics as delaying tactics, although the Watchtower denies this motive. "Officials of the Watchtower. . .deny that the leadership felt a generational pressure to change," says Witness spokesman Bob Pevey (Newsweek, 18 December 1995, p. 59). While these new doctrines may provide the Jehovah's Witnesses some much needed breathing room, in the end they may suffocate the Watchtower with the most damaging and conclusive charges of false prophecy to date.

You're 100% correct about their confused state of mind and declaration back then Sir!

You're on point!

What i'm saying is that neither you nor i was present in 1914 or 1919, so whatever mistakes those taking the lead in Jehovah's Witnesses organization made back then is just history now.

What really matters is how far is the organization going today?

There has never been a time God's people grasp the instruction God gave them perfectly, it was only when Jesus was here on earth that he kept guiding them until he returns to heaven.
The first century Christians also committed blunders in the organizational directions as well, they even misquoted Jesus' saying for decades until the time God's holy spirit inspired John the Apostle to correct the wrong notion that thousands of Christians back then had taken to their grave!

The only evidence pointing to them as the one and only group worshiping God in the right sense is their performance as a group. Whoever concentrated on their blunders back then will never be saved because without them nobody can know what Jesus commanded people to do to gain salvation!

Today Jehovah's Witnesses have proved beyond all doubts that they are the one and only Christian group, i'll implore you Sir to weigh matters from both sides NOT just concentrating on their blunders, the first century Christians that we are all reading their writings today also committed blunders even costly ones! smiley

It is very very disingenuous to use the Bible to explain away failed prophecies and wrong teachings of the watchtower society. The first century Christians, though very anticipatory for the second coming of the Messiah, never have any official date/year when the Messiah will come. The JW gave various dates (1914, 1925, 1975 and 1984) for the end of this 'system of things' and the coming 'Armageddon' which never happened. So blaming the first century Christians, the technical watchtower blackmailing style, in order to remove themselves from the hooks of false prophecies and teachings, is evil and very disingenuous on their part. What a responsible organization would have done is to apologize to the public for their mistakes and ensure that they don't peddle hypothesis as facts. But no, the watchtower cannot be wrong, they based their teachings on the Bible and their mistakes can equally be tied to other people's mistakes using Bible as a reference.

The Bible contains the good, the bad and the ugly, and one can get justification for any action he saw/learnt in the Bible. Moses killed an Egyptian to save a Hebrew from being killed by the Egyptian, does that justify murder? Does that mean that if an Igbo man sees his brother in danger of being mauled by a Yoruba man he should kill the Yoruba man to save his Igbo brother? This is the exact position the watchtower tried to take. Instead of taking responsibility for their doctrinal errors, they either blame their members (who are the victims of the false teachings) or look for a parallel (even unrelated) incident in the Bible, to justify their mistakes without taking or accepting responsibility for it.

My question is, if the watchtower had been known, and they have acknowledged it, to have changed so many doctrines over the years, what is the tendency that what they currently teach today as 'the one and only truth' will not be changed tomorrow, going by the past trend? Has the watchtower ever apologised for making mistakes in their past teachings?

(2)Has the watchtower ever apologised for making mistakes in their past teachings?

(1)The Watchtower have made it open to all members of the organization that "they are infallible so they can make mistakes in organizational directions". That means if you're a member of this organization, you should be alert to the changes so that when all the members globally get timely information regarding what we were taught initially that must be readjusted, all members switch to the new understanding.
So it's none members that are complaining outside the camp NOT those inside the camp fully prepared to take instructions! smiley
(2)Based on what i explained in the first response, the Watchtower needed not such because all members are aware that new instructions can come anytime to invalidate the old order.
So who are those demanding apology from the Watchtower, bonafide members fully prepared to welcome new developments or none members who never thought of obeying instructions given to members of the Watchtower? smiley

No. Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity. He is a living being and the personal Spirit of the ALMIGHTY GOD. Though invisible, even in the Heaven, but you can feel his presence when he is near. I have felt his presence many times and it is
sweet.

The "it" used in Rm.8:26 ("Spirit itself maketh intersection for us"wink is just English semantics or grammatical usage. Remember the "Spirit" was written in capital letter throughout the book, indicating that he lives.

Going further, in Rm.8:27 "he" was used for the same Spirit ("what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints"wink.

Like I said it was just semantics.

Oga " IT " appeared at verse 16 and 26, a thing

Does that not tell you that any reference to he is a personification ?

(1)The Watchtower have made it open to all members of the organization that "they are infallible so they can make mistakes in organizational directions". That means if you're a member of this organization, you should be alert to the changes so that when all the members globally get timely information regarding what we were taught initially that must be readjusted, all members switch to the new understanding.
So it's none members that are complaining outside the camp NOT those inside the camp fully prepared to take instructions! smiley
(2)Based on what i explained in the first response, the Watchtower needed not such because all members are aware that new instructions can come anytime to invalidate the old order.
So who are those demanding apology from the Watchtower, bonafide members fully prepared to welcome new developments or none members who never thought of obeying instructions given to members of the Watchtower? smiley

That shows how gullible the sect adherents are when doctrines and teachings are changed at any time at the whims of the elders.

Okay continue to delude yourself with your religion of errors. You also, like Taze Russell (your sect founder), will know better when you get to heaven and the Truth is revealed to you. But by then it will be too late.

Meanwhile before then, why not keep an open mind, shunning sect adherence, and visit spiritlessons.com site. There you will find books of people whom the LORD Himself took to explore Heaven, such as Ann Rountree's "The Heavens Opened" or Rick Joyner's "The Final Quest". Believe me my brother your eyes will become open. More so they are very interesting read for all Christians, where true doctrines were explicitly expounded by the Master Himself.

The Watch Tower have a habit of stretching the scriptures to suite whatever plan they have, first they overstretched Nebuchadnezzar's dream to mean more than his 7yrs madness which landed the sect into the 1914 controversy, till date that has become their biggest error.

Secondly they read more into Jesus's words (Matthew 24:34 [King James Bible]
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.)
to the Jews concerning the Roman invasion that ended the Jewish nation in the first century, every bible student understands that to mean the invasion will happen while the generation listening to the sermon are still alive.

The Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed much of the Temple in Jerusalem fulfilled Jesus's prophesy, but just like the Watch Tower read more into Nebuchadnezzar's dream, they also made same mistake twice by over stretching the scripture which always put them into thesame mess, which is: "the 1914 controversy"

Revelation 22:18 says: [King James Bible]
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Clearly the over zealous men in your organisation have added to the scriptures more than once which means they'll receive their plague in due time.

The only defense most of JWs have to justify their doctrines is the fact they claim to be the only group going door to door to preach, but what good does it do for Christ to go house to house teaching errors?

May God bless you abundantly for this quotation Sir. Amen in Jesus name! smiley

Please do you agree completely with what you just quoted?

Because it means Jesus' way of doing things will still be the same since he is the same person YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER! Hebrew 13:8

Remember what this same Jesus did when he was here physically, he brought so many new DEVELOPMENTS to worshipers of the true God {Matthew 5:17-48} and said those who fails to SWITCH OVER to the new order will perish! John 3:16

Those Jews listening to Jesus were confused because he said "I have not come to abolish the law" yet he is giving them NEW INSTRUCTIONS that's totally different from what they knew before!

Even his followers most times finds it difficult to understand him, why?
Because this same Jesus will give them an order and later change it WITHOUT any reason for the changes or APOLOGIZING for the sudden change! Luke 10:1-12 compared to Luke 22:35-38

Note what Apostle Paul said before what you quoted, he was telling the Jewish Christians (Hebrews) to be SUBMISSIVE (obedient) to those TAKING the lead amongst them! Hebrew 13:7,17

Because many of them might feel discouraged if Jesus (their now invisible commander) should give strange orders to those taking the lead to pass on to them. What they're to concentrate on is ARE THEY TAKING THE LEAD IN THE NEW DEVELOPMENT? That's the import of verse 7 which says "as you contemplate how their conduct turns out, IMITATE their faith"! Hebrew 13:8

So many today may see Jehovah's Witnesses as gullible followers of their so called confused Governing Body, just as first century observers would see those Christians LOYALLY taking orders from the Apostles.

The Apostles made mistakes that's obvious to everyone in the first century, because they may not grasp what Jesus want them to do fast, yet Paul is admonishing all first century Jewish Christians to continue OBEYING them because their INVISIBLE master and Lord is known for giving strange orders even to the point of changing the instructions he himself FORMERLY gave them! smiley

Most of those who knew Jehovah's Witnesses back then rushed into the organization, expecting more signs to come from them.

Well let's consider few points!
©All those claiming Christians within the organization have buried all racial prejudice making Jehovah's Witnesses living next to me "my brothers and sisters" no matter where they may come from! Matthew 12:46-50 compared to Malachi 3:16
©They have disarmed all members (NONE OF THEM GOES FOR MILITARY SERVICES) so that no JW can think of killing his neighbour for any reason whatsoever! Matthew 26:52
©They have united all people from different races under the heavens even including world class racist nations, and throughout the earth now Jehovah's Witnesses are a happy family of PEACE loving worshippers! John 17:20-23 compared to Isaiah 2:1-4, Micah 4:1-3
©They have eradicated polygamy from their midst, so whoever is contemplating joining them must seriously consider sticking to his/her marital vows! Matthew 19:3-9
©They have adopted Christ's preaching and teaching method that's designed not to irritate, harass or annoy pedestrians in their neighborhood, as they respectfully visit people IN THEIR HOMES instead of indiscriminately CURSING people for not been members of their religion {Matthew 12:19}, while others will just start making noise in the streets or public buses, Jehovah's Witnesses will ask for your permission before discussing with you! Matthew 10:11-15
©They succeeded in discouraging their members from partaking in POLITICS {John 6:15} so that no member gets involved in Satan's system of Government! Luke 4:6-7 compared to John 14:30, 2Corinthians 4:4, 1John 5:19
©They have turned all their youths to simple and easygoing citizens, so that when you here of protest anywhere you can't even imagine a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in such act. Romans 13:1-7

(6) Most people will surely accuse the chieftains of other families saying "they are lying to their family members" but Apostle Paul made it clear by listing the the NINE qualities of God's holy spirit adding that whenever you find such in any organization, there is NO law against them! Galatians 5:22-23
Jehovah's Witnesses have succeeded in planting LOVE, JOY and PEACE in the midst of those adhering to their teachings, James (Jesus' half brother) said "once you're seeing faith working what is fine, whatever you're saying against them could only make sense if you can present a better performing group! James 2:18-26

Finally Jesus said "People can't gather grapes from thorns nor figs from thistles" {Matthew 7:16} adding "every good tree produces fine fruit and rotten trees produces worthless fruits"

That's why Jehovah's Witnesses kept saying "OUR FRUIT (overall conduct of members globally) IS SPEAKING FOR US" Matthew 7:15,20

(1) There is a GOVERNING BODY and all members of the organization must be submissive to this group {Hebrew 13:17} if individual opinions is entertained oneness will be undermined {Roman 15:5-6, 1Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:3} and there will be confusion!

(2) Jesus gave just us one thing that will attract none members "LOVE" {John 13:34-35} in addition Apostle Paul added that this kind of "LOVE is patient,doesn't look for it's own interest, bears all things, endure all things" {1Corinthians 13:4-7}
Paul later stressed that so many other gift in Christianity will later FAIL but this LOVE will remain {1Corinthians 13:13}. This means anyone focusing on other gifts like prophecy, speaking in tongue, miracle performance will be disappointed at last because what should attract sincere and honest hearted people to Christianity is the LOVE (GOD) that's permeating their midst. According to John, GOD himself is the one permeating the midst of his people! 1John 4:8

(3) No Sir, it's not the doctrines per say that's our purpose of going to meet people in their homes. It's to inform them that God's Kingdom is coming to destroy all human government and anyone who wish to become a subject of God's Kingdom need to learn what the King will not permit in his Kingdom! Luke 19:27, Galatians 5:19-21
Those joining us are doing so after learning what God's Kingdom want them to know and as they're seeing that we are already struggling to put on the NEW PERSONALITY that could fit in to that Kingdom! Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10 compared to Revelations 7:14

(4)Hmmmmmmmmm, i've told you earlier that such is not even expected since we know our Master, Lord and King. He is the one directing them with the power of the holy spirit. So all members are ever prepared for any sudden change that may occur at at any time.
These men are NOT inspired, so Jesus will NOT speak to them! He is only directing them through the holy spirit (the spirit of truth). Since they are also imperfect humans, we are aware of their limitations but we are 100% sure that if NOT for the PRINCE of PEACE directing them {Isaiah 9:6} a bunch of Americans can't just win over 8,500,000 souls from all the nations under the heavens to form a global happy family of PEACE loving worshippers! John 17:20-23

In this dispensation that there is NO organization standing tall with LOVE JOY and PEACE in their midst, Jehovah's Witnesses have emerged with all those qualities! So members aren't gullible as many may think, we are sure that a mighty God {Isaiah 9:6} is behind their performance! Zachariah 8:23

If truth changes like you want people to accept, what then will happen to those who believed and died in your “former understanding”? You said “the Watchtower family have declared themselves as NOT inspired”, but they still maintain that they’re the faithful and discrete slave Jesus talked about, who provides spiritual meal in due season. If these same faithful slave(s) have been wrong in their previous understanding of the scripture which have necessitated the “new light”, how can you prove the current understanding is in fact the truth?

(2) The generation doctrine has been “reviewed” more than 10 times since 1975, As early as the mid 1960's, the Watchtower had strongly suggested that the 1914 generation would end by the Fall of 1975, this is 2019 and Armageddon is yet to happen. Isn’t that enough reason to discard the whole idea that “That is why this case needed extra care to handle”? (Quoting your eloquence). Not all prophesies need human interpretation, especially the ones no one can predict, like the Armageddon the Watch Tower have consistently failed in all their predictions with regards to DATE.

(3) World war 1 was never what Pastor Charles Tazz Russel predicted to happen in 1914, what he predicted was Armageddon – the end of the present system of things! Obviously that didn’t happen and when the war broke out, he and his fellow travelers quickly held onto it as a significant event to validate their publications and predictions. The world war war was a coincidence at best – it was equally followed by the more devastating world war II, why did the watch tower not make a big deal from that too? A gain notice how it was convenient for the watch tower to hold onto the acclaimed invisible presence of Christ in 1914 and the invisible ousting of Satan from heaven, why would anyone believe that when all predictions that eyes could have seen failed to occur?

(4) The funniest fact about JWs is that everything they accuse “Christendom” of doing is exactly what they end up doing. You said “It's the additions that's causing confusion globally in all the religions claiming Christians, instead of them to come together to resolve what's causing the division (which is the added doctrines) these religionists concluded that they're all DIFFERENT DENOMINATIONS of the same religion” - Russell left the Presbyterian Church to join the Congregational Church, he ended up founding an entire religious organization that today claims to be the only “true Christians” on earth. Not to mention the failed predictions over the years which the watch tower says are the characteristics of fake prophets.

(5) You said Jehovah's Witnesses are globally known for their house to house evangelizing, that much is true, but they are not the only group doing that – the following Christian group also do house to house preaching:

• Bible Studies Fellowship, headquarters in San Diego, Ca.
• Bible Way Publications, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
• Christian Millennial Fellowship, Hartford, Conn. Publishes the New Creation magazine.
• Christian Renewal Ministry, Saratoga, Ca.
• Church of God of Abraham, Wenatchee, Wa. Publishes Notes for Bible Students newsletter
• Dawn Bible Students, East Rutherford, N.J. One of the original splinter groups formed after Joseph Rutherford became president.

All these are splinter groups from the watch tower organization.

this people do not join the army, they do not vote and above all they reject some form of medical treatment believe you me, if i find my self in a position of authority, i wont hesitate to ban such beliefs challenging the authority of government.

That's why you won't find yourself in a position of authority...even if you should become the president of Nigeria, you will fail to get rid of Jehovah's witnesses. This group - Jehovah's witnesses have shown from history that their activities cannot be suffocated.

Have you ever considered the similarities between Jehovah's witnesses and Christians in the first century? If you were in Government in the first century, you'd certainly lock up all the Christians.

MrFly:
They do not respect constituted authority hence their refusal to vote, sing the National anthem and recite the pledge..

Nationalism is a religion says the encyclopedia Britannica. Patriotic citizens actually worship the state incase you haven't noticed. Consider the Nigeria National pledge: "....to serve Nigeria with all my strength..." Jw have already promised to serve Jehovah with their whole mind, heart and soul.

When Paul and the other Christians were flogged and told to stopped preaching, they said we will Obey God as ruler rather than men. God urges is to Obey the superior authorities (Governments), but what do we do when the laws of the Government is in conflict with God's law? We obey God as ruler. since we already serve God with our whole mind, heart and soul, there is nothing left to give to country.

*Matthew 24:3-34
3
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of
Olives, the disciples came to him privately.
"Tell us," they said, "when will this happen,
and what will be the sign of your coming
and of the end of the age?"
4
Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one
deceives you.
5
For many will come in my name, claiming,
`I am the Christ, and will deceive
many.
6
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars,
but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen, but the end is
still to come.
7
Nation will rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom. There will be
famines and earthquakes in various
places.
8
All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9
"Then you will be handed over to be
persecuted and put to death, and you will
be hated by all nations because of me.
10
At that time many will turn away from the
faith and will betray and hate each other,
11
and many false prophets will appear and
deceive many people.
12
Because of the increase of wickedness, the
love of most will grow cold,
13
but he who stands firm to the end will be
saved.
14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be
preached in the whole world as a
testimony to all nations, and then the end
will come.
15
"So when you see standing in the holy
place `the abomination that causes
desolation,' spoken of through the
prophet Daniel--let the reader
understand--
16
then let those who are in Judea flee to the
mountains.
17
Let no one on the roof of his house go
down to take anything out of the house.
18
Let no one in the field go back to get his
cloak.
19
How dreadful it will be in those days for
pregnant women and nursing mothers!
20
Pray that your flight will not take place in
winter or on the Sabbath.
21
For then there will be great distress,
unequaled from the beginning of the world
until now--and never to be equaled again.
22
If those days had not been cut short, no
one would survive, but for the sake of the
elect those days will be shortened.
23
At that time if anyone says to you, `Look,
here is the Christ!' or, `There he is!' do not
believe it.
24
For false Christs and false prophets will
appear and perform great signs and
miracles to deceive even the elect--if that
were possible.
25
See, I have told you ahead of time.
26
"So if anyone tells you, `There he is, out in
the desert,' do not go out; or, `Here he is,
in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.
27
For as lightning that comes from the east
is visible even in the west, so will be the
coming of the Son of Man.
28
Wherever there is a carcass, there the
vultures will gather.
29
"Immediately after the distress of those
days "`the sun will be darkened, and the
moon will not give its light; the stars will
fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies
will be shaken.'
30
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man
will appear in the sky, and all the nations
of the earth will mourn. They will see the
Son of Man coming on the clouds of the
sky, with power and great glory.
31
And he will send his angels with a loud
trumpet call, and they will gather his elect
from the four winds, from one end of the
heavens to the other.
32
"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As
soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves
come out, you know that summer is near.
33
Even so, when you see all these things,
you know that it is near, right at the door.
34
I tell you the truth, this generation will
certainly not pass away until all these
things have happened."

• Dawn Bible Students, East Rutherford, N.J. One of the original splinter groups formed after Joseph Rutherford became president.

All these are splinter groups from the watch tower organization.

(1) You've rightly defined the TRUTH by saying "it shouldn't have versions", meaning all those claiming they have the TRUTH must be in agreement! Where you missed it slightly is the PROGRESSIVE understanding of God's word, Jesus said God's word is TRUTH{John 17:17}, No generation of God's servants is equal in the understanding of his words and purposes with their predecessors! At Exodus 6:2-3, God told Moses "I dealt with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but they never knew me by my name". Of course Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knew God's name but it's his purposes that they never understood as what he is about to display with Moses!
Before Christianity came God told Daniel (a faithful prophet) that the prophesy he is penning down is NOT FOR HIS GENERATION to understand so Daniel shouldn't bother to peer into such deep things! Daniel 12:8-13

Please are all these people worshiping the same God? Then how come they aren't expected to have the same understanding?

In the first century this same Jesus said something in the presence of his 12 Apostles, what he said was misunderstood by all the first century Christians, most people believed that Apostle John will not die until Jesus return {John 21:20-23} surely this misconception came from the Apostles who were the ONLY ones present when Jesus made this statement. It was at 98 ad after John had written the Bible book of Revelation that God's holy spirit directed him to pen down his own gospel account so that he could use that medium to correct the misconception.
Jesus uttered that statement around 33 ad and the correction came around 98 ad, now how many do you think would have carried that wrong idea to their graves? smiley

(2) You rightly quoted a verse that's noteworthy!
(Matthew 24:45) Here the faithful and discrete slave is to continue giving Jesus' domestics their portion of food AT THE PROPER TIME! So what should be expected if you're feeding your domestics properly? Definitely they should be well fed and performing their normal duties!
I think the Watchtower's performance in this respect is excellent considering the manner adherents are zealously, industriously and joyously preaching and teaching people in their neighborhood the message of God's Kingdom globally!

(3) I told you initially that Charles and his team never got the clear picture of what will happen in 1914, but world war 1 is enough evidence that something happened in heaven that year! {Revelations 12:7-12} So Charles and his team surely saw something coming in 1914 through their thorough research, just as watchmen on the Watchtower will see something coming in the dark but they never got the clear picture!

(4)Charles never intended forming another religion, all he was doing back then was to find the one and only true Christian group and work with them. But since most religion back then are not ready for PROGRESSIVE understanding of God's purposes, Charles and few other men came together and continue on their research, until what we now have today. That's i told you that Jehovah's Witnesses have that heritage of PROGRESSIVE understanding so don't expect us to be stagnant in anything but LOVE! 1Corinthians 13:1-13

(5) Hmmmmmmmmm please you've been asking questions like a sincere observer, don't mix things up by turning around to deceit!
We are talking of a group known for their house to house evangelizing GLOBALLY, you and i know that if you ask people from all the parts of the earth regarding this, the only answer we will get consistently is JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES!
