IFEOLUWAKRIZ: Lol, a lot of Nigerians make that mistake. A professor made that mistake recently in his Facebook post. I almost called him out. There is this other word that Nigerians also spell wrongly. "Quiet". I see a lot of people spelling it as "Quite". |

You are also at the level with the Twitter handler, using "am" instead of "I am". Teacher don't teach me nonsense! Biggty: 9 Likes 1 Share |

Kaychiz:this rule does not apply to an educational organization such as JAMB Even in corporate organizations, they can not exercise the rule of "English is not our language"...English is our language of communication, as far as Nigeria is concerned, it is the lingua franca and the language of business. Whoever handles the social media of educational organizations like JAMB should be able to communicate in FORMAL English. This is not the Twitter handle for some random Daniel from Ikotun. Stop endorsing mediocrity 12 Likes 1 Share |

It is good to avoid abbreviation in official communication. With that strategy and standard of communication blunder like this might be avoided. Very unfortunate, query, redeployment if not loss of job. |

it is time Nigeria education system move away from grammerian education into technical and vocational education. who English help? , the Asia tigers ( Singapore, south Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan) are all great today as result of the later not the former . if I am to make a decision , maths and science should be made compulsory instead of maths and English. English should go back to the optional list. what we need is simply basic understanding . |
