EmptyCoconutHead: IPPIS is not an innovation of baba. It was implemented and put to use under GEJ. The process of enrollment was in phases but the fg had already been enrolled during GEJs time. Same with BVN which was linked to the records. The APC is just good at propaganda. They keep reminding us PDP did nothing but the innovations they keep talking about to shine were implemented by PDP. Is it that you really didn't know GEJ implemented IPPIS or you are just doing the propaganda you are used to? Have you ever heard APC say PDP did anything good? The are ashamed to give credit where it is due. PDP was great at creating sustainable institutions and processes. They failed on doing propaganda. 4 Likes |

clemzo101:but the concession from the government is paltry. So, universities are now autonomous. That's why there has been an increase in school fees due to lack of adequate funding by the government. |
Re: IPPIS: Why CBN, NNPC Are Not On Our Platform by Nobody: 8:17am On Dec 05, 2019 |
DrDax:Aren't private universities self-sustaining? My point is that if they are, then the public universities can be too. And they're now autonomous because there's lack of adequate funding by the government. |

PatrickOkunima:So you don't know when you transfer fund and 52.50 was deducted as transaction charge, 50 naira goes to CBN and 2.50 for the commercial bank. Meanwhile each government universities generates billions of naira every session (application fee, acceptance fee, school fee, departmental fee, dormitory, etc) which they spends for themselves anyhow they want either in a good or bad way. 1 Like |

Gradually we are embracing technology in governance. People of high integrity should be engaged to manage the system to avoid compromise. I support any initiative that will bring transperency and accountability for national development and for common good. 2 Likes |

All the excuse of visiting lecturer holds no water anymore.in most government hospitals, visiting consultants too go there for consultations and at the end of the month, the hospital pay them from the hospital running cost the federal govt usually send to them every month . As for cbn ,nnpc and firs guys and even the politicians receiving bogus allowances they will have there own day too at the court of the masses when the time comes. Good morning maa 1 Like |

Re: IPPIS: Why CBN, NNPC Are Not On Our Platform by TGM2015: 8:44am On Dec 05, 2019 |
Thegoodone13:What is IPPIS, it means Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System . CBN, NNPC, etc remit net income to FG, that means, as a profit making organisation, they have deducted ALL expenses including Payroll cost (Salaries and Wages) before remitting excesses. By standard of being a Corporate Business Enterprise, though (fully or partially) owned by government, they Must pay their employees themselves. Government is just a shareholder and should not be burden with payments of their employees salaries. These organisations are just like Banks, Dangote, Nestle, etc only that instead of having private individuals as their sole/major shareholders, they have the government as a sole/major shareholder. So in real strict sense of business, they SHOULD NEVER be enroll on any government IPPIS. 1 Like 1 Share |
