OAP, DaddyFreeze has countered 77-year-old General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who during the week, said one of the things he must do before he dies is to build a church as big as Ibadan city in Oyo state.



Preaching on the third day of the Holy Ghost Congress 2019 holding at the Redemption Campground, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Pastor Adeboye said he has a plan of building a church as big as Ibadan. According to him, no one should believe he is dead until that is done.

Freeze has now countered his dream. In a post shared on his IG page this evening, Freeze said what Nigeria needs more of now are factories and not more church edifice as she already has enough of that. Read his post and share your thoughts.

A. Someone wants a Church the size of Ibadan

B. Someone else disagrees and would rather have factories the size of Ibadan

Let's birth their thinking into reality - reality meaning how this meets three basic Nigerian needs - jobs, security and shelter

So comparing above to the current socio- economic clime in Ibadan, and on the premises below

1. What is the ratio between the number of jobs a Church the size of Ibadan can provide to the wider society versus what a factory that size can provide

2. Ratio between how much security contributions a Church the size of Ibadan can provide to the wider society versus what a factory that size can provide

3. Ratio between how much shelter a Church that size can contribute to the wider society versus what a factory the size of Ibadan can provide

4. Ratio between intrinsic value a Church that size can contribute to the wider society versus what a factory the size of Ibadan can provide

So it can accommodate more people who will pay offering and tithes? Imagine if all this men of god built factories and companies in the respective states they are won't it add up to something as the nation unemployment rate is off the chart now? They are making religion so discouraging.

How will preaching to millions of people who are on empty bellies help them out, will it pay bills for poor families, will it put food on the table for such families, will it give hope for the future for such families. If the answers are no or have a but then to be honest with you it's not what God wants.

The primary aim of Christianity is to show love to God and neighbor. Church buildings are just show-offs edifice.

All these church spring up in numbers cos they don't pay tax. If the fg makes tax compulsory for churches and mosques, many will fold up.

Don't tell me they aren't generating money cos if they aren't, they won't see money to buy a land as big as Iwo road alone not to talk of build.
