I mean why not? it takes alot for a man to be my "partner" (I've ONLY had one REAL one of those lol). I mean simply being my boyfriend, boy toy or FWB does not make one my "partner" to me, my partner is someone i consider my other half without a wedding band. If we could last that long the where I consider them my partner then there should be honesty. What kind of useless man would I be dealing with who is afraid to tell me what he making? if he cant be honest about his paycheck then what wouldnt he lie about. It's ludicrous

I know how much my husband makes, but he refuses to know how much I make. I think thats because he knows I probably make more than him. lipsrsealed

But initially he himself didn't want to tell me but when he realized my sister works in the same place with him and they earn same salary, What's d point? I voted: "Yes". Granted that I am in a long time committed relationship. Not some Joe Blow I'm just dating. It's really none of his business. That's just "optional" information if he/she wants to share.

But again, if I'm in a committed relationship, then yes. IF he asks! I wouldn't just go around and be like hey, I make such a such a year! I'm a lady and like to use tact when supplying information I find pertinent to my relationship. wink
Re: Can U Tell Your Partner Your 'real' Income? by Pappij: 2:16pm On Dec 03, 2010
Yes i can and infact i will cos am engaged

It is essential lots of tact is applied though especially since you know your partners temperament.

Should this even be a question? Why hide how much you earn?
Re: Can U Tell Your Partner Your 'real' Income? by tayolumi(f): 1:21pm On Dec 06, 2010
I think men especially like fronting about it, especially naija girls who just out for cash.
But if you'Re living in a place like Germany, there's almost no way you can hide it from your spouse when you have to submit all your payslip stuff,
