This Saleh's statement is an insult to the Yorubah nation as a whole. I don't blame him but Tinubu who insured that Buhari becomes the president. The seed the south east sowed is hunting them now. If Saleh can say that hisbah is constitutional, then why must he condemn Amotekun. Useless man. |

If this Saleh can come live on national tv station and call Yoruba nation 'primitive', to their face? is an insult to all living Yoruba people, even Awolowo might wake up from his grave. The gods are angry. 3 Likes |

Racoon: What you said should be the case. But some people are still viewing it as a Tribal /Yoruba thing for now. They always forget that after this fight, they will still have to fight their own. Because currently, this is something affecting everybody excluding the Perpetrators. People should be wise. The FG can't win this battle. Damages has been done. |

Typical of Fulanis to turn the southerners against each other. The Nama cleverly started playing on the emotional intelligence of Igbo by citing the oba's threat of which they were the major beneficiaries as well as that of the recent election heist. This should be a very strong lesson to us southerners. The Fulani don't give a Bleep about any of us for any reason be it religious or political. They have no permanent friends or allies down south. In fact they see us all as the same thing. Foolish pawns whose backs are only useful for riding to and retaining power. Until the southerners decide to do away with all the petty bickering and historical bile between them and seek a common front, they will continue to hold the short end of the stick while their precious time and resources are plundered for the benefit of these locusts. 6 Likes |

A good time to be Igbo......been on the lime light for too long now....my Yoruba folks.....you hate the Igbo's because u can't stand competition...... While the igbos ignore competition and let their works speak on her behalf.......Amotekun or no Amotekun...yoruba can never in years to come be a threat to the igbos......we do dem just fine......the fulanis subdue and eliminate competition....they survival depends on it.....this matter is a serious one.....if it were an igbo mans idea and initiative....war would have started by now.....but dey still pamper the yorubas because they know the igbos wont hesitate to utilize the opportunity to pick sides to achieve our Biafran dream. Our intentions is well known which slims out 2023 Presidential elections for the east... But even the north don't trust the Yorubas their political bed mate.....they the Fulani's know that the Yorubas can be very cunning, deceptive nd hypocritical from all rams.....God bless Igbo. 9 Likes |

This guy thinks he is smart...............trying to bump heads......when did herdsmen become the spokesperson of the Igbo... The Yoruba and Igbo have the most non-political collaborations in this country....they are the most tolerant of each other...... The reason they seem to fight is because they are always in positive competition with one another, while no one is fighting the North because there is usually nothing positive to compete with. Any competition in that direction usually ends in bloodshed. 6 Likes |

FACTS ABOUT FULANI/FULBE/PEUL BEHAVIOR The Amotekun project pretty much spells the end for Fulani abuses. If it does work, and it will barring any sabotage, Nigerians will see how truly powerless these people are. The mystique of Fulani power or Fulani sagacity has been overplayed in this country. in their culture since their days in the SeneGambian plain the concepts of pere and puulaku have held sway. They boil down to total freedom over one's needs and control over one's actions, movements and lifestyle without any oversight or restrictive authority. So when they encroach on ur land it is these concepts at play. They do it because it is their right. One might be wondering where RUGA came from? Don't look too far beyond these constructs. The Fulbe exist across West Africa and even where they held emirates in the Futa Toro and Futa Jallon (just like Sokoto), they are now quite literally helpless. In Guinea where they hold 40% of the population they have never held power. Instead are humble and playing the victim card in their perpetual state of opposition. Sekou Toure denied them and Conde today, yes same Conde that meets Buhari a lot, literally has held rallies where he's bragged about containing the fulani.... In the Sahel they cannot compete with their fellow Sahelians. Another example, the Dogon-Fulani conflict in Mali. Where 10 Dogon die, 60 Fulbe go down. Now thy cry victim and say that the govt in Bamako is supporting the Dogon... lol. Reverse of Nigeria....All because the ppl have stood up to them. In history when Rabeh Zubayr came from Sudan and conquered Al Kanemi in Borno and seized all Fulani cattle what did they do? When dealt a hard hand they cooperate and act sheepish. President Buhari has an ancestor who fled Borno after initially working with Rabeh before losing favor and fleeing for his life. On his way to Daura he pillaged and acted with reckless abandon.. What happened to him? Where did his boldness come from? Didn't he just run from Rabeh?!?! Sahelians know how to deal with fellow war-loving Sahelians. We need to pick this up. We, rainforest and coastal people have been quite calm with regards to dealing with them. By virtue of their control of a huge Hausa population base and being on the right side of the civil war they have tried to make it seem like it was all theirs from the beginning. Without understanding the factors that put them in power. Not that a Fulani being in charge is wrong or anything, but to carry on killing and maiming people without regard? Miyetti Allah boldly speaks on behalf of these murderers and nothing is done. If someone says "Biafra referendum", it won't be 6 minutes before DSS rushes them. But these people are constantly tearing apart the loosing threads that hold this nation together and nothing is done..... 4 Likes |

kponkedenge: The silence of Tinubu and the absence of Sanwo_Olu at the inauguration of Amotekun says it all that he is not in support of the regional security outfit. Recall his statement at the home of Pa Fasoranti when he went to commiserate with him that the Hausa Fulani herders were not responsible. So obviously Bola Tinubu is against Amotekun as it is not political expedient for him. 3 Likes |
