The mighty has really fallen. [/oquote]Barca did when they bought poulinho man United is not the first club to buy Chinese goods and don't forget he played with Watford before moving to China.

The mighty has really fallen.

Eras come and go. United can no longer atttact the best. And this viscious cycle can only be broken by outstanding coaching in sync with ambitious management.

Just look at a once formidable AC Milan now considered a grave yard for washed up players and a showcase for eastern european mediocrity.

Somewhere somehow I believe if United were firing on all cylinders Paul Pobga's injury crises for instance will miraculously end.
Re: Man United Set To Sign Odion Ighalo by Mizwisdom(f): 9:07am On Feb 01, 2020
grin Manu, of all players it's Ighalo you loaned from China? instead of selling off Pogba and buying World class players, it's Mr. Odion you people saw to buy. It would have been better to loan a good striker from Championship than any player from China. Wow there's a confirmed curse on Woodward and Ole. Tueh

Amuneke has the record then... as for Oliseh, in terms of “bigness” or greatness (not form oo). Man Utd pass Juve.

So Amuneke is 1st with barca
Ighalo will be 2nd with United
Oliseh 3rd with Juve
Martins 4th with Inter
Kanu and Mikel and Moses will share 5th, 6th and 7th with the middle class London clubs

Juve of then was a far bigger club than Man U

Also Kanu and finidi George won champions league with Ajax and Ajax was the biggest club in the world then

English clubs were not big in the 90's

never has there been a time when juve was bigger than United. As for Ajax, they were the hottest. You’re right.

Before 99 Juve was by far bigger than Man U

Matter of fact Man U was not in the league of any Italian team

Italian teams were the biggest in the 80's- 90's
They attracted all the biggest football stars

Even with Liverpool's exploits in the 80's
No one took English league and it's teams seriously till after 99

Like u started watching football in 2010. Even if at that, those that played ps1 would have noticed that the big clubs were Juventus, Psg, Ac Milan and not United or Liverpool

who is this joker saying juve and its younger brother (milan) are bigger than man utd. Use google. You have no basis, total trophies won, head to head, money, stature, any criterion you wanna use would shoot you in the foot.

Juve is more successful than ac milan, but united is more successful/greater than them both.

How can u compare Ac Milan success to Man u??

Ac Milan is in a different class above man u

you keep confusing united and liverpool with jokes like chelsea and arsenal (in terms of greatness). Juve and milan dey learn where united and liverpool dey. You get google. Liverpool the 2nd most successful English team had won just 4 trophies in tye last 30yrs. So their greatness no be today affair. They’ve been great since the 70s even. Just go and use google to compare juve/milan with united/liverpool, I assure you that you will weep for the italian clubs

do you know what bigness is? Italian teams have never been “bigger” than English teams. You mistake “bigness” for “popularity in Nigeria”. It is your type that will say Chelsea is bigger than United or Liverpool due to the number of Nigerian ignorant touts in their camp

By the way. By how many goals do y’all think Leicester will whoop chelsea with, this afternoon. I believe chelsea will luckily leave with a “decent” 2-0 defeat

Sincerely I’m happy for him. I was talking about Man U that was desperate and ready to sign anything. The guy is not the kind of players Man U would go for before now. I’m happy for my brother

No offense but u seem to be a novice in Football

Anyone who has been following football since the 80's would not argue against what I said

Very sure u never followed European football in the 90's else u would not write what u just wrote

Like seriously?!
Which world football star in the 90's would tell you English league is his destination?

if not for man u UCL/treble, David Beckham and English media hype from 99 up wards, who took English league seriously?!

Dennis Beckamp who left Inter to Arsenal was seen as a failure for not living up to expectation (he was European footballer of the yr)

Even Brazilian and Argentine league were taken more seriously, FACT!

Egypt won lots of Nations cup last decade but no one took them seriously
Same thing with Liverpool and English teams

World never took them seriously cause English football was never admired (kick and follow)

Italy, Germany, Spain, Holland and even Belgium and Portuguese league were far more prestigious those yrs

This is not Google matter
leave media hype, those that followed football then know this

European cup aka UCl was not even that popular worldwide in those yrs till 1990
Series A title Scrudetto was even more popular
