The Prophet's father was Abdullah ibn Abd al Muttalib.

Ali's Father was Abu Talib ibn Abd al Muttalib.

The Prophet married his daughter Fatimah to Ali despite both having same grandfather.

So marrying Cousins is permitted in Islam.

The son/daughter of your granduncle is your first (ascendant) cousin!
