toxicbrain:Truth is that they should never have been captured in the first place; they should have been killed in the field cos that's the only workable solution in our case. Rules of engagement entails that prisoners must be treated reasonably well, and in our case, those useless global agencies are watching. A govt that cant even feed innocent people in IDP camps, i realistically wouldnt expect them to feed captured terrorists indefinitely, and since its too late to kill them now, releasing them is inevitable. 2 Likes |

Nbote: If that how people repent, then prisons would not be needed cos once a thief is caught, he should just be deradicalized then released A kidnapper nko, same thing This govt is a joke, people that killed are caught, deradicalized, then released, wow Why won't they continue their killing when they know the worst thing that would happen is for them to be caught and then released |

Amotekun does not rehabilitate. Go figure. What a sad comedy. The Fulanis should keep deceiving themselves. Recycling criminality and thinking it is Nigerians they are deceiving. Military men of Southern origin should seek deployment out of this bad joke they call insurgency. Let the North use its own Northern military personnel to confront the terrorism they are breeding and watering in their own backyard. Amotekun will not rehabilitate and that is why the North has been panicking since that security network came to light. baliyubla: 1 Like |

Pardoning killers while a war is still going on? Why would any community welcome back the same fools that killed, raped and maimed them? They are even planning on 'resettlement' what does that mean? I don't care how 'repentant' they are those animals belong in prison. |

Why isn't the UN, US, or respected Leading Nigerian intellectuals like Soyenka insisting or calling for these people being released to be brought before the courts at the Haig to face human rights criminal charges? Even just a handful, if there are too many of them, as symbolic representative of their crimes against humanity? |

The silence of the US, UN on this injustice against the ordinary people of the North simply reinforces my suspicion that they harbour ill will towards Nigeria. |
