The moral lesson is that soldiers should crush terrorist completely so that they (soldiers) won't have any cause to kick tomorrow because crushed terrorist can't be released in the name of rehabilitation.
That is true, but then Amnesty international starts kicking again and attacking the government for extra judicial killings.
Releasing them is the right decision because we have to realise some of them surrendered and are bound to be released at some point. However it is too early for government to release them, the war against boko haram hasn't been won yet, and not especially now when they are on the offensive. It makes no sense at all
