this guy 'OLAMIDE' created a system that most youth copy and trend, back then everybody was barbing afro then fry it yellow,later move to dreadlocks. almost in every block you ll see one innocent guy with dreadlocks that originated from this very musician. all of a sudden Naira Marley came in and steal all OLAMIDE' fans introduce his own hair style and clothing line for his fans.
what I discovered here is market value these musician fail to utilize in line with their popularity. probably cos they make their money from going to show performance.

If he was to reveal his real character. The true nature of who he really is, he would have been very successful. He has been a copy-cat of what he can not be. If anyone would have succeeded in acting the way he does and thrive, that person is David Adeleke because he has got that root and structure, but not a local man that acts as a boy yet sings Yoruba and acts like Tupac at 20s.

He does not know he looks stupid when he behaves that way.

@Vortex369, not so.Artistes are like intellectuals.They are avarde gardists.You cannot straightjacket them like some anonymous functionaries. They don't always fit the conventional narrative: you must behave in a certain way to be accepted. They have their own signatures that mark them out.When we see Wizkid sing, we know it's Wizkid.When we hear Fela, we know it's Fela because of their signatures. Same goes with Olamide.When he sings,we know it's Olamide because of his signature - Street intervention and other associated things.
Olamide will not fit the stereotypes of what you consider proper behaviour, because that would not be Olamide.So does Naira Marley.You don't expect them to conform to some conventional code of good boys.
