The modern day debate of equality of who among the sex is superior is almost I'll inform. I think there are those among us who are deliberately.pushing this angles to cause tension and generate needless conversations. A man and a woman should simple be regarded as equals not in a competitive sense but in a sense such as separate equal half making up a whole.

That's reasoned, there will naturally be one half more needull in a particular area as against the other. For instance daylight is more usefull when considering work and other human activities and night more suitable for rest. But that is not to say one cannot do work in the night or sleep in the day. We just argue comparative one is more suitable for a defined event.

That's said in the courses of the bible, men who took on the challenge of establishing the good examples were not just men of ordinary feats. They were men who were enslaved by difficult circumstances that ordinarily would break the average man. The reality of biblical times is that men lived there lifes in extreme circumstances. Rulers or king were more or less tyrants and we're absolute in there decision making. Wars were common practising. Raiding and taking kingdom or making slaves out of men were also commonly approved.

That said, those who were then sent were men eager and intended ready for this task. It was no ordinary feat or take on. Take for instance moses. The palace boy. Later stripped of all his titles and trust into the wilderness to fend for himslef. Think of what was going through his mind after loosing all the advantage of a prince in life. Having to deal with the harsh conditions of the desert. He too was later send to comfeont the tyrant pahroah in his own kingdom. Think of the courage needed to pull that off.

Think of Elisha the prophets who was a common fugitive in his day. How often he was chase by jazebel and how often he spent his days in the desert. How God would sent him back to the palace to confront AHab the king. Most times he was found in cave weeping and crying to God. " am I the only prophet left in isreal" this must be understood as real tears consistent with " breaking points."

commonly, prophets were slaughtered. Many were thrown in jail easily. Micah the son of Imlah spoke against king jehoshaphat return from battle and for that he was thrown into jail. Daniel was tthrown into the Lions den for upholding the "GOD STAUES" in prayers. Shedrach and his brother in to the fire. Those were the ones we can readily point to.

In the case of the deciples, many of them were imprisoned first stoned and even set on fire for the gospel sake. Paul wrote in 2-conth 11:25, How he too was beaten, stoned suffers hunger and shipwrecks all for the gospel sake. These were not imaginations. They were real events as far as the bible was concern.

If this were the establish case. Do we really think a woman can take on this kind of task and win with God. Its not enough to draw narratives form modern day equality push as regards socio cultural alignings. Little measure of biological, differencial may account for much in the final analysis when making distinction. No prophet was happy God choose him to suffer this faith. The simple truth about fragments if events that bring about the wholeness of the bible is that it was filed or characterized by many horrors to which women may want nothing of.

I put it this way because its one thing for modern women to see the gospel and leadership in the light of the new world of equality and balance. But it's another to sense it from the dimension of history taking into account wholeNess of these reality. If this is the establish rule, it only follows that men has earn the express permission to preserved his ways subseqently.

That's not say women cannot not participate. Far from it. But men were ordain first in suffering and punishment. That is the beginning that determines everything.

If men are so strong why didn't your god make them the bearers of children? LMFAO!

Thinly veiled misogyny.

That's simple! smiley

He wanted the man to have a partner and the only thing that could bind them together so that one MUST FIND A WAY TO STICK TO THE OTHER IS IN THEIR INABILITY TO REPRODUCE SINGLEHANDEDLY! smiley

God created other living creatures that doesn't need sex to reproduce, but because he wants man and woman to live together as life partners he put the reproduction process in their union! smiley

Thanks! smiley

Lol.

What a load of rubbish.

Obviously you haven't read of old Testament women performing feats.

What was the name of that woman that gave the Army General of their enemies in war shelter and cut off his head from his body while he slept?

And many other women judges in the Old Testament.

I'm saying bearing a child is not a tenable argument to show women are strong nor stronger.

Perhaps you mean women carries the pregnancy until delivery!

Well nature itself makes us know that it's the man that IMPREGNATES woman and he is the one having the responsibility for providing the necessary things like food clothing and shelter for the family, and i'm sure your children bears your name NOT your wife's!

That's enough to prove that the one who stamped the union in the beginning must be highly intelligent indeed! smiley

According to you, child bearing is now a sign of being stronger? something some women are doing for less than 100k in "baby factory", but to rob a bank or kidnap president, or even volunteer to kill boko haram for a good amount of riches they cannot do.

Hmmmmmmmm that sounds logical but why have you been referring to one as weak(weaker)?

And how do you explain it's weaknesses?

That makes you a bit presumptuous Sir!

You could have asked what was the practical application of the theory instead of running to conclusion!

The weakness is not about fitness but in emotions!

The Yorùbá people agreed with the theory!

When getting married they will say
"ìyàwó á bí ìsun, á bí ìwàlè"

Meaning "the newly wedded wife will give birth to one who will shed tears and also one who will dig the ground"

The "ìsun" means female child or children, the believe is that when someone dies, the females are good in crying, while the males "ìwàlè" goes into action on how to dig the ground and bury the dead!

So it's not about fitness Sir, it's emotional weakness! smiley

Judges 4:17-21 New International Version (NIV)
17 Sisera, meanwhile, fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there was an alliance between Jabin king of Hazor and the family of Heber the Kenite.

18 Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, “Come, my lord, come right in. Don’t be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.

19 “I’m thirsty,” he said. “Please give me some water.” She opened a skin of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him up.

20 “Stand in the doorway of the tent,” he told her. “If someone comes by and asks you, ‘Is anyone in there?’ say ‘No.’”

21 But Jael, Heber’s wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.

can we please preach our culture and traditions, refine and re-model it, rather than the ambigous or multi-meaning/contradictory messages from the Middle East?

I was taught by the spiritual Jews to preach and teach not some culture and tradition, so if you know how to preach what you want it's a free world.
Go out there and preach it!

The order to go preaching and teaching came from a Jewish teacher named Jesus of Nazareth, so the spirit is not for nepotists, it's about those chosen by God to do it! smiley

Women do not bear a children alone..it's a "process" and you need to understand it that way. Semen is the first catalyst in child birth and it may shock you but it's not produce by women. So while men initiate the process women can be said to complete it. Thats the way to understand things.
