Simple! Degree certificate carries or you perform in school e.g first-class. Second class e.g but Nysc doesnt carry the aforementioned so they can flaunt it anyhow

Because they are not proud of it. Check social media, in places like UK and US, their graduates happily flaunt and show off their degree certificates after graduating

Without this certificate no public office/organization would pay you as a graduate, also this provide you were once a student because not all student are actually student of the school they claim to be a student.

Are you asking the question from the perspective that passing out corp member, snap with their discharge certificate on the day of POP?
This is because POP is a ceremony to discharge large number of serving corp member from different places(its a celebration), you mostly won't get your school result on the day of convocation and there isn't a gathering during giving it out.
You go to collect it almost individually.
This is the reason you see corp member displaying their Nysc certi.
Students also snap during convocation but most times with no school certi because they don't have it(if they do, they will flaunt it)

because when you just pass out of NYSC, your degree cert most likely is not available for collection until a couple of years - so the NYSC certificate is your biggest achievement since O'Level Certificate - and you have not experienced the real world yet LOL - so body dey catch you

By the time your degree certificate is ready after a few years - you may either still be unemployed OR you are now working in a baba ijebu outlet where an illiterates is your Boss so shame no go gree you let people know sef say u be graduate

They flaunt the NYSC certificate because there is no grade attached to it. even those with Pass in their results get thesame certificate as 1st class materials

1. NYSC certificates are mostly obtained before the degree certificate atleast for most schools, prospective corp members go to camp with statement of results.
2. Grade, no one wants others to really know the grade they graduated with to avoid unnecessary trolls.
