1StopRudeness:They were not fired for their religious beliefs. If the employers hated muslims, they wouldn't have hired them. The lawyers didn't prove anything, they just made a case, and the "Islamophobia" madness helped those truck drivers get their settlement. I can bet that if those truck drivers were Christians, they wouldn't get shit. .... I even let u know that their application was not to a beer company but to a delivery company....so why will u still be staying the employees knew what they were getting them selves into. It’s not like the delivery company only delivers beer......I never said the company is a beer company. I just said it delivers beer as well. If the employees didn't know the company delivers beer, their ignorance is still not an excuse to sabotage someone's profit. It wouldn't change the fact that as employees, they are obliged to deliver what their employers ask them to deliver or they get fired. If they can't do the job for which they where employed, then it's okay for their employers to fire them. Let them look for another job or establish their own delivery company that doesn't deliver beer. they raised their religious beliefs when it was now a beer delivery ....the employer could have given them the chance to resign themselves stating that the delivery job might not have been stated in their job description that they will be transporting beers but that it may be Coming up from time to time ....any Muslim that upholds his faith higher than his job would resign willfully at that point......Who told you they were not given a chance to resign? What if they refused to resign? Do u know what it means to fire someone?that’s bad reference in future job placement, that’s psychological problems..... don’t let oyinbo court reason ur matter that u cause psychological problems for someone... the damages can run into millions if care is not taken.....Lol. Do people now have a thin skin such that firing them can cause psychological trauma? Can't an employer fire an erring employee in peace again? |

ajl: A business has the right to choose who e it saves. I have stayed in America for over 10 years and relocated to Europe. Let me give you a good example go and watch the reality police documentary live PD. See how many black people evicted from businesses also which are banned from entering businesses for trespassing. Why do you think there are KKK own shops in America and saloons giving services to White Americans only |

SUFFERInSMILIIN:Don't mind them. I told them that the Chinese can run his business how he likes, and if he doesn't want to sell to them, they can go to another restaurant or build theirs. The Chinese is the one that loses profit when he turns down an available Nigerian, so why are many Nigerians having headache over the Chinese man's issue? The Chinese doesn't owe them śhit and they are not entitled to what belongs to the Chinese. They have been coming for my head since. |

I wonder what would give a foreigner the "mandarin" rights to restrict it's host nation from full services as expected to all. Very lucky they don't conduct business on the mainlands. Them for hear am. For your interior decor, do check my signature.

Second u say it’s this one is islamiphobia and not religious discrimination......it’s the court that gave the verdict not me.... Illiteracy and stupidity has finished Nigeria and his people. They open their mouth versus their Chinese master. Everyday they wear Chinese clothes. Used Chinese cell phones. Used Chinese watches. Use Chinese makeups. Put on Chinese Pants and Cemetery pants. Put on Chinese weave and Brazilian hair. Put on Chinese shoes and bags. How to use Chinese perfume and pen. 90% of the equipment which Nigerians use are Chinese. Nigeria is 32 in Africa in performance and achievement and 175 in the world in performance and achievements. a Nigerian achieve zero but they are quick to criticize their Masters which is feeding them. quick to fight other countries which their children are running to. A nation of 180 million illiterate without a brain. Look at the millions of Nigerians catching aeroplane to China. A country which are slave master Nigerians are the biggest slave in the world all over the world sold in Libya and Arab countries but they believe they are Masters of poverty |

1StopRudeness:I should be the one giving up on you. If you want to follow court verdict like a sheep, be reminded that one of the highest court in Britain ruled the criticism of Islam and Muhammad as hate speech even though it's supposed to be free speech. Going by the court verdict, will you erroneously brand as hate speech the criticism of Muhammad and Islam? You used the initial case involving the Christian to show that a man cannot decide who he renders his services to. If you understand politics and the state of the cancerous liberal left, you will know that the Christian had the right to refuse services to anyone he wants but he was punished because he offended the easily triggered leftist LGBT community. If the Christian had been a Muslim, nothing would have happened to him. There are businesses in the US and Europe where services are limited to only certain groups yet the police can't do anything because it's (the business) their right. Ask SUFFERInSMILIIN. If a man doesn't have the right to refuse services to anyone, why weren't the Muslim men asked to compensate the customers they refused to deliver beer to? Next u said I’m accusing u of saying the company is a beer company..when? How?Read your post again. See I’m tired... ur line of argument is exhausting and not mind engaging..... u ignore facts and gloriously uphold school of thoughts that are fundamentally flawed...Well, there is no point going back and forth. We can agree to disagree. Good day. |

Organs: You are only looking at the thing from one side of the coin you have to look at it from both sides of the coin. Does Chinese businesses which was shut down they employees some Nigerians now it hand to find job in Nigeria is very difficult and things are very difficult what happens to the Nigerians which the Chinese companies employ. Now the workers are unemployed their children cannot go to school they are families cannot eat and afford a living in this hard situation of the country before you take a action you need to think about the results of the situation. It is not all right that people are not invested in Nigeria and the little investors you are harassing them the net result is a unemployment skyrockets. When does workers which were working for the Chinese start doing kidnapping and armed robbery because they cannot feed their families then we'll come on nairaland with a big mouth complaining that security is a problem the way you make your bed so you lie on it |

voltron14: Please why do you want to use the Chinese restaurants. Why don't you build your own. Why do Nigerians want to send their people to white people schools abroad why don't Nigerians build their own good schools. Why do Nigerians want to send their children to White people's countries which were built by the white people why do they build their own countries. Illiteracy is the height of stupidity with Nigerians. Watch the video below as racism and white Supremacy skyrockets in America https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLvY9bdXHfk |

The real question that should be asked is who gave these businesses the licence to operate. I can more than guarantee you that these businesses have influential and highly placed Nigerians on their board who do not give two s**ts about how Nigerians are treated. We need to expose these Nigerians first and foremost. Perhaps shaming them and denying patronage to their racist enterprises can bring some justice to the matter. But I will never count of government to do anything sensible really. In my view, this was a one-off. chival: |

I see the picture of a Chinese national locking up the gate to the restaurant! Where are the federal agents? It is important to do visual analysis on any news presented to the public either through print or online media. Furthermore, there is suppose to be an official notice banning entry pending the outcome of any investigation as to the claim of discrimination in food service. Just my input! |

Martinez39s: Go again and re-read what you wrote that i had in bold and tell me whose analogy is defying logic. Again, learn to respect and most importantly "understand" people's belief, practice and way of life. Its a delivery job, they deliver other things. Maybe you can find someone else to deliver alcohol and not the those that explicitly say it's against their faith. We can be so myopic and un accommodating at times and this is due to our own bias and selfishness or Nigerian over-sabi. If you tell an average oyinbo man this, they will apologise and look for alternative ways of delivering the goods, but an average Nigerian will impose his faith or his profit on the folks delivering and make it compulsory or fire them. You are one of them sir. |
Re: FG Closes Haufei Restaurant & Mall, Chinese Restaurant In Lagos by Organs(m): 10:17am On Mar 15, 2020 |
SUFFERInSMILIIN: Bros, you should not have that mind set and go close to leadership. There is what we call dignity, love of Country, Self Pride, NATIONALITY etc that takes precedence over what you are saying. A chinese eatery in your country will sell takeaway for you but will not allow you sit and eat because youre black, Nigerian etc and youre talking about people working their losing their jobs You're unbelievable sir. I, personally will not work there even if they are paying me 5M per Month. Also, your analogy is wrong. There are other dignifying things to do if you become unemployed that is not going into crime. |
