By the way, this is the US. Not all good have VAT or Sales Tax and taxes vary according to state. People in Delaware don't pay any tax unless they are buying alcohol, tobacco or gasoline. States like Texas have no income tax.

The hypertolerant nature of nigerians to suffering in the problem. If just 1 million suffering nigerians can decide to march to Aso rock, national assembly, supreme court and beat up, harrass or even exterminate these criminals that call themselves leaders, the new crop of leaders will become sensible.

What Trump is doing is not about the economy alone and it’s about making sure the economy survive the epidemic , it’s about mitigating the effect of corona virus on those affected by testing positive and those who have to be quarantined and businesses that have to close so they don’t bankrupt. These people have to still be able to feed themselves even when they are unable to work. Trump is not giving $1000 to those that are not affected. America is giving billions in aids to countries and spending billions prosecuting wars, it didn’t reck the economy. It is now that America has to help its own citizens that the help would reck the economy. Really? You need to receive more sense

Dude, he's just doing that for his selfish interest(re-election bid). He thought the announcement would boost stock market after it plunged. If he really wants to help the folks that have tested positive and quarantined, he should implement zero income tax and paid sick leave. You don't help economy by handing out cash. How long will the money last for them? And why bail out airline and hotel industries(what happened to the tax break they received). They probably used it to buy back stocks and enriched themselves. There is nothing Trump does without benefitting himself first.
