If not for the workers negligence which must have been caused by inadequate and upgraded facilities, and lack of expertise, those ailment mentioned above would not have killed the woman. Whatever the true story may be, this is a wake-up call for all states to urgently have isolation centres in place. Also, protective wears should be readily available. Remember that the healthcare workers have families and friends, and in any suspected case, people will first go for safety. However, having structures on ground will boost confidence of the workers.

This topic,if not any other thing, has shown us the state of Enugu isolation centre. That alone can discourage people to visit the center.

It's not incompetence per se but unethical and downright immoral. Most will refuse to treat without payment, most will take shortcuts that could lead to serious injuries or death. This is why no matter the level of education and experience as a medical doctor in Nigeria, once you get abroad you still have to pass the board exam and some additional education/training before you are allowed to practice.
