darfay: That is the beautiful thing about Yorubas. I'm a Christian but man grandma from my fathers' side is a Muslim. In a typical Yoruba house, you won't be surprised to see a Muslim father and a Christian mother with the children splitting between going to church or mosque. Yorubas are enlightened and intelligent people, we don't care what religion you do as long as you are peaceful.. 2 Likes |

The difference is CLEAR. We are excelling in every angle, from the music industry to the movie industry and tech industry. They should keep on hating while we keep on peppering their asses. Yoruba with the sauce and everything. Gosh, this pepper too much! 5 Likes |

darfay: I disagree with your statistic. Yoruba Christians are not minority in SW. Okay, this is an analysis for you to determine which religion is the majority. Ondo and Ekiti are majorly Christian. Ondo is like 5 percent Muslim, same with Ekiti. Now to Ogun, the two dominant tribe are Egba and Ijebu. Egba are mostly Christiam while the Muslim population are found in Ijebu. The border region in Imeko are also mostly Christian. In general, Christian form the majority in Ogun. The highest Muslim population in South West can be found in Osun state, yet the Muslim dominated region are still identifiable. Ilesha axis are 99 percent Christian. Ife region are over 90 percent Christian. Osogbo is predominantly Muslim yet there are a lot of Christian, same with Ede, Inisa, Iragbiji. These are the area populated by Muslim but when you sample the Christian population too, you find many. Of all the town in Osun, Iwo has the largest percentage Muslim. Unconvinced though, I will agree that Muslim got it in Osun but the ration isn't markedly different. Now let's go to Oyo. Ogbomosho are Christian though you have many herbalist, apology to our Ogbomosho brothers. But any region in Yoruba land where African traditional religion predominate, you find Christian dominating. Those shrine lie side by side with church. Ibadan is the largest region Oyo yet it is a melting port of all the tribes. The traditional practices are still strong in Ibadan and I will give the majority to Christian, same with Oke Ogun area. The most Muslim dominated is Shaki and it's environ. The Christian to Muslim ratio in Oyo is like 60- 40. Christiam still predominate. Which other state. Lagos. The indigenous tribe are in overwhelming minority though they have some Muslim population. Given this data, no way Muslim could be the dominant religion in South West. The Christian to muslim ratio is like 65- 35. Even in Kwara, when you take Ilorin and ofa out, the rest are Christian dominated. Have you heard about ECWA? It is a Christian denomination. They have the largest presence in Kwara.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

light099: Is it really? Compared to the work programmers do & how much they earn all across the world, excluding FAANG companies & others multinationals like Uber, Lyft, SalesForce etc which is like 0.5% of total population of people who code. I honestly believe the rest of the world are earning averagely to be honest. If you factor in the millions on Freelancer, Upwork, FIverr etc working for less pay to support their families. |
